The word would be infatuation, and when you're young you don't know! Half the fun of what you feel has to do with growing up, it's up to you to work out if what you feel is real or something passing, no amount of answers you get are going to change how you feel about a person.

The infatuation stage lasts from days to maybe a year. I guess you know it was infatuation when it turns to just friendship or dislike. It will probably take longer to know, if it is love.
Just enjoy being there....And don't marry until you have dated the person for at least four years.

the magnetic pull slowly builds up , keep conscious vigil over senses, .it may sometimes leave one , rendered unaware about the process , if everything goes well, the pull strengthens ,exerts an invisible force on a person in a particular diection. and the person eventually moves through the stages of infatuation and on to flourishing l- -- .

Infatuation generally happens at the outer appearance of a person(looks, behaviour). Get to know the person first, once you are close to that person, you will start discovering the other side of her/him. Love is immortal and once it happens, it's hard to get over with.You can NEVER stop loving a person if you genuinely are in love.

if your thinking about everything about that person chances are its love. if all your are thinking about more than that is the next time you are going to have sex with that person its infactuation or LUST.

love takes time. i think when you know more about that certain person,the less actuation you will be.i think long relationship maybe can be called love is based upon the fully understanding of each other.
