My girlfriend has been tremendously supportive. She is older, her kid is already grown and out. My son is 9, and I'm still mid divorce. Last week, he took a video game out of her house, (for the video game she bought so he would have something to do when he visited). We've been together about a year, living seperately. We were supposed to go to a party tomorrow, (something we've been planning for a long time) and she does not want to see either him, nor me. She wants to spank him, and I told her she can't due to the custody agreement. (no corporeal punishment). I don't know if I should say "sorry, but he's 9, he screwed up, why are you angry at me?" Or basically realize that she's never going to want to be with me and the kid full time. I don't blame her for being angry. Is she over-reacting? I don't know quite what to do...

Ladies, in your opinion which type of guy would you reccommend for your friend if you were to set her up on a blind date and why would you choose who you did? I need help deciding. Here are the potetial candidates:

1) Downhome Country Boy loves to show & raise horses. Knows value of $. Has always had to work for everything himself. Loves to drink whiskey & have small house parties. shaggy brown hair & goatee. Weight~ 200 Height~6'0

2) Uptown Chicago Gangsta~ loves to flaunt money, expensive clothes,& flashy cars. Long black hair,tounge ring, tattoos, & cocky attitude. Also a BIG drinker/smoker. Weighs ~125 and~5'6.

3) Sloppy Hippie Guy w/ never combed long sholder length hair, baggy pants, and always a tye-dye shirt. He weighs about 270 and is about 5'7. Plays guitar, smokes, drinks like a fish. Very Smart, though.

4) Nerdy Chemistry/Video Game Lover~ Very Smart, but never had a girlfriend. Long curly hair, tan, Italian, w/ glasses. ~ 160 & 5'6. Drinks occasionally.

I've been friends with this guy for almost four years and I've had a crush on him for almost a year. When we were hanging out he kept bumping into my hand like three or four times, but the first time he did it I was like, "Hey! Whatcha doin' bumping into my hand like that?" and then he says in a very joking/flirty way "Oh, I was going to hold your hand."...Then he says at his locker one day, "Jill was bugging me in gym today about how we'd make a good couple." I sent a friend of mine to go ask my guy friend if he likes me and the friend I sent told me that he said," i don't know,"...basically the next day after school Nick (my guy friend) told me that sean (guy i sent to ask him) had asked him if we were dating...he lied to me...it doesn't make any sense because Sean knows that we're friends...So I told him that I knew he said," I don't know," and he started making excuses denying that he answered tht question,he wasn't making sense, then he says,"well what do you want me to say?"

Well not all, but there's this guy who talks to me and hugs me before we go to our seventh class. ON my birthday he was the only one with me; he was so sweet! He acted weird, he was telling me his feelings and was very flirty that day. After my birthday he only hangs out with the guys and in class he doesnt tlak to me. We practicallly sit right nex to each other and he acts like he doesnt know me; he only talks to me outside of class and before that class (not in from of his friends either). WTF?

Ok, so here's the problem.....she is always asking my mom and I to babysit. I can say no, but my mom can't and I feel she's being taking advantage of. When we do watch my niece, she goes out and drink, smokes and parties and usually comes home as drunk as a skunk. I feel like when we babysit while she goes out that we are supporting this behavior. When I say no to babysitting she makes feel bad like I don't love my niece, but I do! I just want my sister-in-law to grow up. It's fine to go out on occasion and have fun, but this is taking place two to three times a week. My mom comes home exhausted from being there until the wee hour of the morning. How do I convince my mom to say no sometimes and how do I make my Sister-in law understand that I do love my niece.

I started dating my best friend about 8 months ago and things have certainly been rocky at points. i'm his first serious relationship since highschool and it's pretty obvious he's terrified. some nights he looks at me like we are going to grow old together and some nights i feel like i'd be less lonely by myself at home. he has constant mood swings because he hates his job and take them out on me. more recently, the swings have become worse where there are days where he can't contain himself when he sees me and there are days (like today) where he could give a **** what I want or need. The good days are good and the bad days make me cry. Is this an adult relationship or have i found myself someone who just needs me sometimes and tolerates me others?

I wish that I could Adopt a child. I am 32 and getting married. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. It is not in the cards for me to really carry and have a newborn. I am adopted myself. I was given a great family life. I do not have millions to adopt a child, nor does my Fiance. My dream / wish is to be given the oportunity to give a child the same life I was given by my adopted parents! I just do not understand why I have to pay Thousands of dollars! i havent talked to a good guy friend for three weeks and i need a good conversation starter besides whatsup and all that usual stuff you get out of the top of your head. i liked him and he found out because of some big mouth with his/her nose in everyones business. now he hasnt talked to me but stares at mee ALOT. tries to get my attention casually and takes my route to class. i catch him looking at me all the time during class and at lunch and break. sadly, its me that looks away. i need to talk to him about all these dumb rumors.

i'm almost 20 and in college. somehow i've managed to get to this point without having any guy interested in me romantically, let alone ask me out on a date. i don't understand, what is so wrong that NO ONE would like me. i may not be gorgeous but i'm certainly not ugly, i'm smart, have a good sense of humor... the only thing i can think is that maybe i'm just too shy and quiet? it's getting hard since most of my friends are pairing off and even getting married. is there any way i can get noticed by guys more instead of just being the girl that gets pushed to the side? i'm so tired of being left behind.

I want her to know that her and her son will be better off, and not to worry, that they will be ok. I am not a close friend, but care for her and want to show her my best wishes. Gift has to be small...she cannot travel with much. I know she needs money, so maybe that would be best.
