I would because its like you are planning for the marriage to fail.

I would never be offended to sign a prenup. If I didn't earn that money, then it's not mine just because I get married. No big deal. If you truly love someone then a few legal documents barring you from any assets gained before marriage should mean nothing.

If I was the one with money I would want a prenup. I am not going to give any bump my money but, I believe once there are children concieved then prenup is and should be void and null. At that point everything is 50/50.

exactly. No Not all women would have that problem. You hope your marriage works but lets be realistic todays society that isn't always the case and sometimes couples do break up. So why would you want to lose everything you had even before coming into marriage.

I don't see any issues with signing one. As long as what you both jointly vest in, you both jointly benefit from should the marriage end. What you have prior, should be yours after. Some people see it as assuming it will fail, others as you do - to insure you are getting married for all the right reasons. Anyone who has had a bitter divorce knows, the person you divorce is not always who you married.

I would have no problem siging a prenup. I want only what I do for myself. My fiance' and I live together and he has his money and stuff, I have mine. I don't want his house..he had that long before I came along. I would sign to show that I want only your name and right to call myself your wife....thats what it is all about.

If I was marrying someone who had worked extremely hard for what he had and I came along with nothing, then I wouldn't have a problem with a pre-nup as I don't believe I have any right to what he had before we were together.

BUT, if I helped him obtain the money etc then I would want my share.

Pre-nups are good for the wealthy and celebrities.

no I think that they are a good source of security for both parties just in case something were to happen. I mean really in todays society it is really the best plan that anyone can have
