Kids her age can be heartless and cruel!!! I am not sure what you can do to build up her self value, but she has to know that is capable of loving and being loved!!! She has value on this planet, in her family and apparently to you too!!
My mom was always heavy as a kid....she said that the kids in school were the most cruel!!! Even to this day we can go somewhere and you can hear people snicker or see them make faces as we walk by. It is really hard for me , because she is a really wonderful person a and a fantastic mother!!!! People are prejudiced against fat people the same way someone can be racists against someone of a different race. She needs to try and measure her success in a whole new standard..not by her pant size not by her looks...but maybe by what a wonderful loving person she is...how important she is to the people who love her...her capacity to feel. you know her better..think of the qualities you see that make you like her and let her know that in the end those are the qualities that really count!!!
Let her know too, that even these skinny little people, her age, are feeling inadequate in some way too. It is really normal for kids to feel like they don't match up to their peers in some way or another. It is just easier for some kids to hide their insecurities!

geeez, this is an easy fix....only 3 steps to all the boys she wants:
Step 1. GET OFF OF THE COUCH
Step 2. QUIT EATING SO MUCH AND DONT TOUCH SWEETS
Step 3. EXERCISE
weight management is SIMPLE math...if you put more calories than you burn then you WILL gain weight. If you burn more than you put in then you WILL loose weight.
NO DIET WILL MAKE YOU LOOSE WEIGHT WHILE YOU WATCH TV! If you are already a Jaba-The-Hutt looking tub of goo at the age of 14 you need to do something ASAP!

I know how she feels through experince. tell her she's beautiful but she has to start to love herself and stop trying to get her a boy friend and focus on getting her self healthy. people are cruel especialy teens. her parents need to take her to the doctors for depression and find out why she over eats. help her get into some kind of activity join curves or better yet a youth ministeries where the kids there are less judgemental and loving

Tell her that guys from school, usually make horrible bfs.I am 16, have never had a bf, and go to a small town. Have her get out more, try things that take place out side of school. Dont rush it, why have your heart broken by someone when your young when you can learn from other ppls mistakes?

well i have friends like that and they have bf's..and i think she just needs to change the way she is thinking she just needs to focus on herself for right now and build up her self confidence and a genuine love for herself appearance flaws and all...and its easier said then done but not just fat girls go through it all people go through it i went through it but not all men are as immature as the boys you are describing.. i have many guy friends and they say that a womens confidence is what attracts them to a woman/girl if she keeps saying inside herself im beautiful inside and out and she starts to believe it the lack of attention shes getting wont even matter and when she gets alittle older im sure she will find someone that genuinely loves her and gives her the attention she is craving for but she must be patient its a long process learning to love yourself.

she just has to be herself and so what if all the other people have bfs? that's IMPOSSIBLE that EVERYONE has a bf or gf. she should wait for the right one to come. some people r "fat" but they have TONS of friends like me but not that lot and not that "big". i don't really care what others think of me. i'm only 12 but it could work.

good luck 2 her

Uh well.....tell her this if you want. If you don't feel confident about yourself, then no one else is either. If you don't think your are all that, then no one else is either. It's all how YOU think about yourself. The more confident you feel about yourself...... the more you will get in life......
