Unfortunately youre right. Todays adoption agencies charge thousands for legal fees and whatever and in doing so have caused alot of good families to lose interest in adopting. This is also why many have gone into overseas adoptions too and theres not much anyone can do about it. I have a feeling that you would make a great adoptive mother who should deserve the chance to repay what you had but until the Government wakes up and starts seeking solutions to problems like this, many kids will grow up in foster homes and never know the love of having ones own family. Just keep believing that one day your dream will become a reality and hopefully God will give you that chance. Just re,member that if you want something youre willing to take a risk, but if you want something bad enough then youll be willing to risk everything. Ill keep your dreams in our prayers that it will come true. Good luck

Research, I know of people who adopt from all over the world, as it is more affordable - though I do believe you would have to travel to the place of adoption. I have lupus, so my heart goes out to you. Have you talked to your doctor about carrying a baby? What about someone who would be willing to carry a baby for you? I have also heard success stories with that route. Best wishes.

I'm with you. I have 3 little boys and I wish for a girl. I want to adopt because there are so many little ones out there that need love. What better way than to guarantee a little girl for me and a loving home for her? ...but the money stops me too. So my wish is that there would be a way for all to adopt that want to, but can't afford it.

I do not know where you have looked but have you tried Catholic Charities? The arthritis is a factor, (I have arthritis newly diagnosed and feel I have had it all my life) If I loose weight and really get moving I can do. Kids are a powerhouse of movement and energy...My prayers are with you and your new life as a wife.

I wish I didn't waste my time on someone that I thought was a good friend...2 1/2 years of dealing with all his drama...ugh!
It would be great if I could wish away my credit card debt.
Oh, and I wish I could on vacation in a tropical setting...not sure which island.

Things happen for a reason. I know that is not what you are looking for but god has a plan for everyone. There are ways to get a child legally that doesn't cost that much.

Anymore I only have one wish, and that is that someday she finds she has always loved me. My only dream is that we will come together again and that I get to love her for the rest of my days as my wife.
