I've been friends with this guy for almost four years and I've had a crush on him for almost a year. When we were hanging out he kept bumping into my hand like three or four times, but the first time he did it I was like, "Hey! Whatcha doin' bumping into my hand like that?" and then he says in a very joking/flirty way "Oh, I was going to hold your hand."...Then he says at his locker one day, "Jill was bugging me in gym today about how we'd make a good couple." I sent a friend of mine to go ask my guy friend if he likes me and the friend I sent told me that he said," i don't know,"...basically the next day after school Nick (my guy friend) told me that sean (guy i sent to ask him) had asked him if we were dating...he lied to me...it doesn't make any sense because Sean knows that we're friends...So I told him that I knew he said," I don't know," and he started making excuses denying that he answered tht question,he wasn't making sense, then he says,"well what do you want me to say?"

It also doesn't make sense because he sometimes talks about this other girl that he likes and I'll feel stupid asking him if he likes me when he talks about this other girl. But he only talks about her when I ask if he likes anyone

men have a hard time saying they like a girl...they don't want to be teased by there Friends or whatnot..strange creatures we men but you have to love us its in a secret contract somewhere

BE FORWARD. If he wanted to hold your hand then... hold his hand when you are walking or in a movie. If he doesn't react... then your friend may have freaked him out too much, i think it will work though,
