My husband and I have one daughter who is 8. We are a Christian family, and strongly believe in spanking. The only implement we use is a spanking paddle. My husband is generally the one who is more of a disciplinarian. I have noticed that when our daughter gets a spanking from her father for something, she usually never does it again. It really works, but I am open to any opinions as this is a debated subject. I just hope people will see our views, too.

My family is a very Christian family, and I've always been the black sheep. Late in the 70's and early 80's I went down a bad road and shot a few porn films. Someone that has something against me sent those films to my family members and I've been ousted from family gatherings and contact with them. What can I do?

My boyfriend and I have been together for nearly a year. Though we have our arguments like other couples, things have been pretty great. My question is how can we keep our love strong? We're in our late teens, but I really believe that this is the guy for me. We really love each other and I want to have a mature relationship that lasts. Any advice?

I use to be a very big girl. I'm not anymore, but I can totally relate to the BBW of the world. So, guys...just a curious question:

Would you ever date a girl who weighed more than you, if she had a great personality?

We were together for a year and a half, engaged for the past year. He broke up with me, saying that we are incompatible and have nothing in common. I agree that we are pretty different from each other, but I don't think we would've stayed together for a year and a half if we weren't compatible. And why ask me to marry him? Anyways, he said we can still be friends because we enjoy each other's company and we get along. We aren't trying to get back together, but we still want to be in each other's life. I asked him what's the nature of the friendship, and he said it's up to me. I hear guys say they want to stay friends so they won't feel bad for breaking up with their woman even though they don't mean it. I know he didn't break it off because of another woman because I pretended to be another woman hitting on him in a chatroom, but he didn't take the bait. I know it's been a week since the break-up, and I'm still heartbroken. Is it a good idea for us to jump to a friendship?

We've been together 4 years, have a 2 year old son and live together. We've talked about getting married, but have never mentioned when. It seems like it won't happen unless I push the issue. Since we live together I do everything a wife does for her husband. I think I put in extra effort in taking good care of him. I just wish he would ask me soon.

My husband and I have been married for just under three years. We have been arguing quite a lot and our sex life has gone downhill. I have been ill with depression and have gained some weight also. I had just started to try and get my life back on track by being back at work, applying for new jobs, dieting and exercising when my husband annouced he wanted us to divorce. He says he no longer is attracted to me and doen't see how he can get those feelings back. We are curently still living in the same house but in seperate beds, we are talking more and arguing less and we have a session booked this week with a marriage counsellor but I am unsure how this will go. If he doesn't feel attracted to me and is not allowing me to get close/intimate enough to try then how am I supposed to convince him we have something worth saving?

We were asked to host Thanksgiving at our house since I had 34 people over last year told them it was someone else's turn this year, first we were going to an aunt and uncles home then because no one wanted to bring covered dishes it was decided by others to go to a resterant a very expensive resterant, the kind that prices aren't on the menu. We are the only ones with children and there was no children's menu so my children ordered from the menu as did every one else. We are being asked for money to pay for the meals they ate plus drinks and tip 74.20. We were then told that no one knew there would be children there and that we should have gotten a baby sitter for thanksgiving dinner. My father in-law paid for the meal including 3 boyfriends/girlfriend of my sister in laws and bother inlaw. I asked if the boyfriends and girlfriend would be asked to pay for thier food too and I got laughed at and told how rude that would be.

I've been married for 18months. I met my husband while both of us were in the military. I am currently out of the military now. He just got back from Iraq in Sept. I had a preemie (3months early) last year because of all the stress he put me through emotionally. I am currently making an appt for him to take a lie detector test to see if he has physically cheated on me since we've been together. I have caught him talking sexually to women on yahoo i.m. This was when we were first married. He told me he didn't know how to be a husband at the time and he was sorry. I wanted to leave, but I stary b/c of our son. I currently don't work. My job is my son. I am going to find a job as soon as I can find a good daycare for my little boy. I want to wait til after the lie detector test is done and base my actions on the results. Apart of me is say for get the stupid results, just get out of this marriage now. Don't get me wrong, I love my husband, just hate the way he treats me.

I am currently attracted to this 23 year old woman (I am 39). We have gone out a few times, and get along realy well when we are alone. However, I am afraid she is worrying about what others think. Are women that age attracted to older men (even ones that are 15 years older)? . . . Or have I turned into a dirty old man?

i left my husband for another man - my husband and i remained friends and he was very good about the whole thing. I loved my husband so much, but after only being married a few months, i hardly saw him cos of his job and we went through a rough patch, and then i met this other man who made me feel fantastic about myself. i know cheating was wrong and i regret the way i went about things. my bf then left me as he found out i'd made contact with my husband, and i'm not sure what i want - my husband is prepared to try again (we havent completed the divorce yet) which i realise is very decent of him. i still have feelings for him, but i'm not sure if they're enough to rebuild our marriage on. And i do love my boyfriend - although again, i'm not sure if if its enough to build our relationship on. My husband is very reliable in life, whereas i'm not sure that my boyfriend is. i know what i'm doing is extremely unfair and i fully expect lots of abuse, but i would also like constructive advice

I am 17 going to be 18 on Dec 27. All my friends have had sex and I have not. I want to wait until I have found someone special, not just some guy, like my friends did. But I always feel left out when they talk about it and make little coments it makes me feel like maybe I should just o it to say i did. But then I remind myself that I don't. Even my older sisters make me feel like a dork for not having sex. I'm not ready to give up just yet but it is getting a little harder. I'm tired of being made fun of for not going their way. anyone have any words of advice on how to deal with them and keep my head up.
