Last christmas , i met this boy who i fell in love with instantly.I hadnt believed in love at first sight before i met him.We were both really shy though,and didn't get talking until nearly four months after it, although we wold always just stare into eachother's eyes.When we finally got talking,we sat up talking until the early hours, but i had a boyfriend.We became friends,but we hardly talk as much now because...he's fine talking to just me...but when my boyfriend is there he just walks off.I love my boyfriend to bits, he's amazing.But today i suggested 'that boy' had a problem coz he kept walking off every time we walked over.So my bf shouts 'Oi,have you got a problem with us?' and he was like no,why?and my bf pointed at me and said 'coz she thinks you do' and the boy looked at me as if to say wtf?I am a bit upset by it,and i feel like i need to apologise to him but what can i say?Plus obviously my bf doesnt have a clue about us.Dont get me wrong i love my bf but that hurt me.

I'm 18 and a senior in high school. I've been wanting to ask this girl out for some time now. She is really, really shy. She's the type who won't start a conversation but will talk when someone starts first. We don't really "know" each other, not even names, but we've talked once in the library. She leaves directly at lunch because she takes the bus home. I notice that from a distance she will glance at me and see what I'm doing, then she'll hurry to the bus. We don't have any classes together so its really hard to get in touch with her. My question is this, how do I start something with this really really shy girl? Should I try and get her email or something to get to know her first or should I flat out ask her out so we can get to know each other there? She's really shy so I don't want to come on too strong, but enough to make my point. If anybody has any ideas on how to start something worth while and any ideas on places to ask her out to, please post them.

my best freind has been in love with me for a lil over 3 years, he has seen me heartbroken, in love, and it hurts him each time. i love him, but his religion forbids him to be with me. he kisses me, totally against his religion, but he always says he cant have a relationship with me. and i wont convert. we always used to say that one day i will be marrying someone and then at the alter he will rush in to save me from a starcrossed marriage. i am done waiting. should i stop him from trying to kiss me, and show him i wont do this tango anymore, or just put off the guy im with, just for him to say hes not ready?

My family came to the United States from Oslo Norway many many years ago. My mother and grandmother were never short on stories about the culture in Norways and holiday traditions. Unfortunately they told me most of these stories etc when I was a teen and not even slightly interested. I didnt retain much of the information and regret it terribly. Mother and grandmother are both gone now as are most of my Norwegian relations here in the United States and I have no way of knowing how to contact family in Norway. I have a beautiful 11 year old son whom I'd like to teach a few things about our heritage, including holiday traditions...we are VERY big on the holidays. Can anyone tell me how I would contact pen pals in Norway? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

well this guy and i have been best frineds for about 4 months now. I tell him more stuff than i tell anyone else. He knows me inside and out. we have both had past relationships that screwed us over pretty badly. his last g/f really put a hurtin on his heart. Let's say the guy had family issues. Loss of mother or father, moved around from place to place, an only child, almost like an orphan. Possibly fear of attatchment, or just scared to get hurt. But if you liked the guy, and was nice, cute, etc... Would you never get involved with a guy like that? Would it bother you? Is it a turn off or turn on?

I do not wear my wedding ring becasue it bothers my hand and is in the way of golfing and working. I only put it on when I am travelling and at parties.
