i think it is because its not like u can tell your heart "no his taken love someone else" but i think the best thing 2 do is to forget bout him cuz if his happy with his GF then maybe your just waisting your time being in love with him

nothing wrong with loving someone you can't help who you fall in love with. It what happens with those feelings that matter. Do you respect his relationship and his GF and back off ? or Do you pursue him? Consider this: if the situation was reversed how would you feel?

I think it's just fine, so long as you keep it to yourself... don't go trying to interfere with a man's happy relationship... you wouldn't want the same thing done to you if you switched places!!!
However, if he's really unhappy and looking to get out of it... maybe you're the best one to help him!
