I always wish my Husband a happy birthday on his actual day of birth.

I also give gifts!

Well, not on the *actual* date of their birth because I can't go back in time ;)

But you bet that on my husband's birthday, he's treated very specially by my kids and me. Anyone who doesn't feel the need to wish a Happy Birthday to their spouse is just a lazy and self-centered toad, IMO.

If I had a significant other, I hope that I would. However, I'm not sure I'd like to be there on the day of their birth, those big age difference things don't seem to work most of the time!

You dont have to but dont you think it would be nice. Would you like it if your significant other didnt tell you happy birthday.

Of coarse- why wouldn't you? It shows that you appreciate and aknowledge them on this special day. The only reason I can think of you not telling them is if you forgot. Oops-I sure hope not! :)
