This guy I had a long distance relationship for a year has screwed me over pretty bad. When we first started dating he was a sweetheart, but then in July he started becoming distant from me. He was supposed to come visit me in Texas for our one year anniversary in August but three hours before he is supposed to be on a bus he calls saying he cant come. The last two months he has really been mentally abusing me. We broke up two weeks ago. Now he is hanging out with a 16 year old and they seem to be dating. He's 20 and I'm 18. My heart is hurting, but I have this wonderful guy named Eric trying to do everything he can to make me feel better. Eric loves me and wants to marry me someday. My life has stopped ever since my ex has done to me. I know this was probably all confusing, but what should I do?

Well it's Thursday night and I have nothing to do. I've had a fight with 3 different members of my family and have just discovered some girl has been spreading nasty rumours about me at school. I have a mountain of homework that I don't want to do and my 'secret' boyfriend is on the other side of the continent.

So you can probably tell I'm feeling pretty depressed. What can I do before I go to bed to try and feel better?

Hi, I have been dating this really really great girl for almost two years now. She is sweet, caring, and beautiful. My problem (which I guess you knew I was getting too with a title like Relationship Advice) is that for the past three months we have not been very physically intimate. Some background is that she has just recenly graduated college and is working on starting her own business. Rather than living in an apartment she lives with her parents. I also am finishing up a masters degree, so it is hard to find time to see one another for the length we used to. It's to the point now that we don't really do anything sexual at all besides a peck on the lips. We do cuddle and watch tv, but more often than not she is more concerned with playing board games and doing puzzles. I never force her to do anything she doesn't want and we have dicussed this. I told her I felt like it there was something wrong with me, or that there was someone else perhaps, but this is not the case.

I am 18 years old.i was adpoted when i was four.my adpotive mother is also my aunt.she and her husband got a devorse.her husband got in trouble and i saw what happend.we went to court and he got put in prison for 8 years.before i was kicked out of my house because my adpotive mother doesnt like me.she abused me all the time she blamed me for her ex-husband going to prison but it wasnt my falt.i live with my boyfriend and his mother who is more of a mom then what mine ever was.my sisters hate me and my brother i havent talked to him.my adpotive mother told every one a different story.so every one that i used to know hates me now also....i deal with my adpotive mother calling my cell phone every day to yell at me and all she is doing is wasting my minutes.i have never trusted ne one in my life becides who i live with now.my adpotive mother told me that she hated me and she underapprecated me...that is why i didnt like her. i would like to know if you have to deal with the same problem?

I work with this guy and we we have been talking for a while now. Well, he is always joking about having a different girl every night. example Megan is Friday and so forth. Against my better judgement we were intaimate, he stills calls and we talk at work. But I am so confused. I was with this guy before I married my husband. And we had plans to be together, but it didn't work out like that, so I moved on and got married to a great guy. But my heart can't totally let this other guy go. Why? We have both moved on and done other things. I feel bad. I love my husband and I want to be with him. I should know, I am one. I recently asked a question, something like "should I give my relationship with ___ another shot, after all this, how will he feel about me?" Well, "blank" just called me and now I'm mad at him, I havn't seen him for a year and all of a sudden he up and calls me. Also, don't you think it's kind of weird that he calls me this day of all days, for the first time in a year, when I start questioning our breakup? I dunno, seems too much of a coincidence...
