I have been involved with someone for 7 years on and off now in a real long distance relationship (continents apart). I had caused some friction in the relationship 2/3 years back by breaking up with my bf and things have not been the same though we are really in love with eachother. He had become very bitter for a while as I had left him for someone else and I had decided to close the chapter and move on. He is too insecure and unsure of our future. I went back home last week (same city as him) and it drove him insane that I didnt call or get in touch and I was too busy to see him the first 2 days. We ended up spending a night together and it was the most amazing thing. When I asked him what it meant he said he needed more time even though he knows he wants to spend his life with me he's too insecure and I am just trying to look out for myself. I dont want to get hurt anymore and even I dont know what I want I just know i love him and miss him very much. I need direction...

I've been dating my boyfriend for 6 months now. He is WONDERFUL! Kind, caring seeks to maintain a persons dignity even when he's angry with them. Everything I've ever wanted! But he won't touch me. We'll lay together to watch T.V. and he'll touch my shoulder then. He's never touched my hair except when it gets into his face. He seems to be uncomfortable showing ANY affection, except what he HAS to do to pacify me. I don't want to lose him, but I need affection too!! HELP!
