I'm getting so tired of my mom thinking she can hit me or slap me when we get into a fight, and expect me not to hit her back. Sure she's my mom, but when i'm being hit im going to defend myself and not let someone just sit there and hit me. I don't care if it is her house, which is one of her famous lines, she can just send me out then because i'm not going to be degraded like that and not stand up for myself. Does anyone else feel this way? Is it wrong that i do that? I think she should just keep her hands to herself. I never try to hit her ever unless she's touched me and then she gets bitchy about me hitting her, but hello, she just hit me too! Nobody likes to be hit, so why would she hit me and think it's okay, but when i hit her, it's not. The motherly title shouldn't stand in the way of that, whether or not she is my mom it's not right. Neither of us should hit eachother but if she's gonna swing first, i will defend myself. Does anyone agree or am i just stupid? REAL ANSWERS PLS

We love each other a lot (and yes, we're both well beyond HS) but she got distant a few months ago. She's not seeing anyone else, I am very confident. We have talked about it and she says she has always done this in her relationships, she gets scared getting close and pulls back. It's not going to end up like her previous relationships if I have anything to do about it. I want to be with her and I really believe she wants to be with me if/when she can get past this. Any rate, this has understandably caused some friction in the relationship. I have tried w/ some success to just spend time w/ her, no expectation, but that's not easy b/c I do care as much as I do. Anyone have any ideas on dealing w/ this?

I am incredibly physically attracted to my current flame. He's certainly attracted to me as well, but I feel like the physical aspect of our relationship is 10x better than our conversations. Its not that they're bad, its just that the other things are GREAT and i feel that our chats should be equally wonderful. We're only about a month in, so there's definitely a lot to be learned about each other, but sometimes i feel like im prodding for answers or rambling too much about my self. Any advice?

my boyfriend told me today that he wants me to stay living with him. He told me a few months ago that he wanted me to move out. I was upset, but we decided we would just live apart and stay together as a couple. Huge step back! but its what he wanted so how could i fight it. ok, so i'm in 8th grade, and i just moved to a new middle school (well, two months ago, but still).
the first friends i made seemed really nice, and they were really helpful..... but well, they dont talk about anything except homework and grades... and honestly, it's a bit boring hanging with them.
and so then i started being friends with the fun people, the people i could talk about crushes and guys with, and when my other friends see me talking to them, they start whispering and pointing and glaring at me.
and then, when i go back to hanging out with those friends, the others get mad. so now i'm caught between two groups.
honestly, i would love to be friends with the "fun" ones and not the boring ones, but apparantly, according to my other friends, they are rumor-spreaders...... so im a bit scared, to be honest.

im 25, unfortuately still living at home, they are doing anything in their power to try to keep me here and im trying to save up as much as i can to move out.They refuse to have my bf in the house just simply because they don't like him.
