Ok so yesterday I was asking questions on how I could become friends with this girl, so I took someones idea and asked her if I could borrow a pen. So I'm gonna give it back to her tomarrow but I dont know what to do when I give it to her, I'm trying to become her friend so what should I say?

start talking to her daily.... just enough so that you don't seem creepy. if you were really meant to be friends, it will all work out.

sounds like your in your teens like me. im a girl so maybe you can understand where im coming from. just say thank you for letting me borrow your pen. not only are you returning it your showing you return items even though its just a pen. make convo. say so how is your day going? what have you been up to latley?if she ever needs help with something tell her that your there for her. girls really appreciate that. and just start talking about teachers or other kids (not to hurt them..no drama) say she looks pretty or comment about her eyes hair or something like that. then over time find out what her hobbies are such as sports or shopping (ik guys arnt a big fan but still) lol im not a shopper but she might be. see if she has any siblings or w/e things like that ...need any more help just e-mail me at luvbeinspazz06@yahoo.com

when u give her back her pen start asking her some simple questions and they will lead up 2 a conversation or find out what she likes and start talking 2 her about also try 2 be funny but dont sound dumb.try 2 find out about some things u have in common GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Marino, you don't understand what goes on in the girl's mind. In my opinion, say"Hello there. I brought back your pen. Can we talk about..." and mention a subject. Ask questions and answer hers. Pretty soon, the both of you will be friends. This is also called small talk. It works 100%, but only if you do everything on this page.

what u should do is when u give her her pen back say hey rmember me u let me hold your pen then have the pen out and say i know u dont know me but i find u as an instering person and i want to get to know u a little bit better and she might she how do u find me an instering person if u dont know me if she do say not every girl gives an stanger a pen

Hold the pen out to her as if you were going to give it to her and as she goes to take it away pull the pen back. Tell her that you'll give her the pen under one condition. Then you ask her very nicely if you can take her out to dinner and NOT Mc Donalds. Good luck...

If you are interested in dating her don't become her friend. You don't want to go into the friend zone. Tease her, joke with her, etc. but don't become one of her girlfriends. Start to give her pen back and quickly pull it back and say something like "I don't know if your pen will want to be held by your scrawy little fingers after being in man's hand." Or anything that will tease her. You have to show her you aren't intimidated by her and carry yourself with the confidence that she will be lucky to have you, instead of you being lucky to have her.

Ask her if she wants to hang out [outside of school] when you give her pen back.
I only figure you are in school because you don't know how to get to know a girl you like.

Look into her eyes and say, "Thank you for letting me borrow the pen." LOL Give it to her and ask her out. Dude, if you like her, just go for it. Guys are so cute tho...you need to just DO IT. We LOVE it. My husband was the agressor and he just asked me out. He told the truth and was himself and now we are married! Happily!

ok, a pen is a good on, one of my oldies (stupid things to do) but a good start.
when you give it her back, try to give it her when she is alone, mention that it was a cool pen and how it helped with what ever you were doing (make something up if poss about something she likes doing with her pen - diary or something). then say. 'um, i was wondering if you would like to go movies to see 'some movie' with me on saturday, it wil be my treat. and thats it, she will say ok(yes) or no, or make up and excuse(no)
