We love each other a lot (and yes, we're both well beyond HS) but she got distant a few months ago. She's not seeing anyone else, I am very confident. We have talked about it and she says she has always done this in her relationships, she gets scared getting close and pulls back. It's not going to end up like her previous relationships if I have anything to do about it. I want to be with her and I really believe she wants to be with me if/when she can get past this. Any rate, this has understandably caused some friction in the relationship. I have tried w/ some success to just spend time w/ her, no expectation, but that's not easy b/c I do care as much as I do. Anyone have any ideas on dealing w/ this?

I can tell you love her.however, you are looking at a situation that can turn ugly if not treated. She needs to sit with a psycologist who can be able to unearth the issues that lay buried.you can not do it alone.

i think you should talk to her tell her your feelings for her and let her know that you will always be there for her. basicly tell her that you will not hurt her. just let her kno that you are there and you care for her.
