I don't mean infatuation or lust. I mean genuine, life-changing love! I've had long and short term relationships but it has only happened to me twice, neither times was it my husbands!! I was 22 years old the first time and it was love at first sight for both of us. The relationship lasted 8 years and we were forcibly parted. The second time I was 39 and it lasted 18 months. I don't know how long it could have lasted as I ended it for the sake of our families. Both men I still miss deeply. Will I ever fall in love for real again or have my chances gone?

My friends visit each other from time to time but hardly ever come to visit me. I no they all have health problems like I do, but I sometimes wonder why they dont come to visit? One of my friends always used to call in when she was going to the shops, but that has stopped. I am female and am talking about my female friends. One of my friends wants to see a dvd I have, and the other day I happen to mention as have done in the past that I am still waiting for her to come and watch it, and she just told me to watch it if I wanted as she may not come for some time. I boldly asked why they dont visit me and they said they had no time, I think this is just an excuse as they visit each other and spent time with each other and dont include me very often. I think it is sad so it makes me wonder why? does anyone have any suggestions please?

My ex fiance and I just talked recently and we both are in current relationships with other people. I love him dearly as well as he for me, our partners inour relationships adore and value us. But we yearn for each other, but we dont want to act upon anything because we feel or partners deserve better than to be treated that way, and toyed with. Guys, when your home in the bathroom and doing your thing (#2). Does your wife complain to you about it. Does she say to you "Why do you have to do that in my bathroom" or when you come out of the bathroom and the first question out of her mouth is "did you poop". So what if I did or didnt. Women, why are you so concerned with what we do in the bathroom when it comes to going to the bathroom. I feel what goes on behind the CLOSED door is my buisness and that is it. I dont do it to you.

My dad and his girlfriend have been together for about 5 years now. His girlfriend has 3 children. 2 of which I have met and gotten to know a little bit, and one I have only met a few times.
I live at home with my dad and his gf. Her daughter, who I have only met/seen a few times is staying with us for a few days. She's in her middle 20's, i'm 20.
It's really awkward(sp), and we have nothing to say to eachother. I just woke up today and she is here staying with us and there is just nothing to say.
I don't know what to do or how to break the ice because I don't know anything about her and I don't want to just start asking a bunch of questions.
Uh, I need to get to know her and have everything be on a normal level so maybe we can all start becoming a family. (btw my dad's gf's kids all live in different parts of the country, not around here)
So what do I do? What do I say?

We are going out of town to have our wedding and close friends and family members will be there.
But he wants to invite his ex-wife to go.
They were married about 6 years ago for less than a year. They have a son that is 11.
Now the ex is remarried with more kids.
they are "friends" I guess you could say...they talk when they have to
the excuse for her to go is that his son needs to be there.
BUT we have grandmas and grandpas and great grammas, aunts, uncles..
We have a lot of kids going and lots of people to care for them.
I dont want her or her new family there. I feel that I am always going to be the 2nd wife and for my wedding day I want it to just be me. Am I wrong?/
We were never invited to her wedding!!!!!!
Sometimes I feel like she always has to stick her nose in

Ok, here's the situation: My mom & 15 yr old sister is staying with my grandma. My mom works 2nd shift so my grandmother is there with my sister while mom works. My sister has a b/f & when she wants to go out to eat with him & my cousin & his g/f but my grandma gets mad & tells her she can't go. Mom says it's ok since they are out with other people & they are only going to eat & go to movies. Mom says at least they aren't being bad & getting into trouble, drugs, etc. Grandma says its her house & she can tell her what she wants. She even gets mad & fusses with mom. My dad is an alcoholic & he hasn't raised us & doesn't want us to date. He is mean so mom doesn't let him know sister has a b/f but now grandma keeps threatening to call him & tell him everytime she gets mad at my sister or my mom! Mom really needs to be on her own but she can't afford to. It's just a mess. I'm glad I'm married & don't live with them anymore. Does anyone have any advice??

I have always thought that the right one would just come along and I wouldnt have to worry about anything.
So I concerntrated all my engeries on my career not my love life.
I am now 28 and just really worried that I am getting old and need to settle down.

I have a major problem. I was dating this guy from my church. Eveything was going great and all we were taking things slow. That is how he wanted it. He told me that he wanted to make things work between us. He stoped doing all his stuff and was even trying to stop smoking cig.! He told me that I was the only person he had feelings for like this and all that mushy stuff. it suprised me because i know hes not like that. Well anywase he started doing all his mess again and he found out by one of his friends that also goes to our church that i was really upset. so he broke up with me he told me that he didn't want me to wory about him that he just couldn't take it. I talk to his mom some times and she tells me that she wishes we would get back together and that he does still talk about me but we have been broke up for a year now. well my problem is that i miss him so much and i think about him all the time what should i do i know he's the one.
