Even if the guy is a good guy, why is it still assumed by the majority of women? Is there some sort of communication barrier which entitles them to cut off verbal explaination, then assume the other person could read between the lines and know the true meaning of the statement?
There are guys that do it too, but this is more of a girl thing.
A lot of guys get annoyed when this "hint dropping" occurs and I just want to know:
Is it a type of conditioning of the past where women decide to not give straight answers and questions? Or is it a natural type of "guessing game" that is embedded in the brain?

I'm with my boyfriend 4 times a week. We usually watch a TV show we both like on Thursday (he's watched it at my house once). He's the one who started that "tradition". Then on Friday we go watch a movie. Then I told him I miss him and wished I could see him more, so I started going over to his house on Monday. Then, we very recently started spending the entire day together on Sunday.

I didn't really think anything of it until my mom said that I go over there too much. I invited him over that week to watch that show here. Last night I spent the greater part of the day with him. I had to go into work for an hour for a meeting. He wanted me to come back. In fact, he said he was glad that I was coming back. I was expecting to come back and eat dinner with his family. While I was gone though, they all ate dinner, including him.

So now I feel like I'm not welcome there. It was even an inconvenience for him to wait on me to get back. Do I tell him I'm not coming over much anymore?

My mom has a lot of health problems. She got paralysed two years ago and has changed into this totally different person. It seems like her negative qualities have magnified 10 times and made everyone's life difficult. My dad is also not that healthy and has his own problems and my mom is making him more sick because she gets angry at him for no reason. I can understand that once you can't do certain things on your own you can get depressed but I really need to know what i can do to help her get over her anger!!Please help!

me and my boyfriend recently broke up...again. a month after we started dating he was like "oh, i have a cuddle buddy if you have a problem with that we cant see eachother anymore" so i asked him" why didnt you tell me this a month ago" his reply"i forgot"
but thats not why i dumped him, i broke it off cause he was pushy and wantd sex, but im still a virgin.
i miss him
i told him no sex, but the whole haveing a girl as a cuddle buddy thing...would that be a reason not to get back with him..i mean c'mon he is cuddling with other girls,. god knows what else he's doing

My husband is a young HS teacher. Found out that he was talking to one of his students online. This really upset me because of an incident I had in HS. That teacher went to jail and had to start his whole life over. I am still scarred by that. I told my husband that AIM is crossing the line-I know these things because I was there. One statement taken the wrong way, and you can get in a LOT of trouble. I was really shaken up about it,so he said he would tell the student that he doesn't feel comfortable discussing things on AIM.

Since then, it seems like he quickly closes a window when I go into his office. Today he asked me to send something through his email program,and when I did,I saw a lot of msgs between him and the student. One of them started with "Oops, sorry I lost you on AIM-got distracted." Yeah right-I probably walked in and he closed the box in panic. I didn't see anything romantically inclined, but emotional, like "It's nice we have each other to listen to." HELP

I had broken up with someone about a year ago because they just all around did not appreciate me. The person begged for me back making all sorts of changes mostly quiting smoking wich is big for me. Needless to say we got back together and the person is much nicer to me but have on several differant occasions found ciggaretes in thier car and caught them smoking and its begining to tick me off. What should i do?... I understand its very difficult to quit smoking but this is somthing that the relationship restarted on an it really bothers me.It just seems like they keep doing it. What would you do?

I have a boyfriend who is a heroin addict, it absolute devastates me. We have one child together and one that I had before that who is like his child...8 years jails, detoxes, programs and alot of happiness but alot of sadness. When he's good hes the best, when hes bad he's bad... He has never hit me stolen from me or been mean to the kids its just that emotionally I am exhausted, I understand its a disease, I stopped shooting heroin a year ago, I almost lost my kids and died, reality check, so i know about heroin dependancy, what i dont understand is when is he going to hit bottom and realize how much I love him. I am sorry I just need help, I dont know whether to leave him or not. Im afraid he will kill himself if we are not in his life. Honest answers what can I do.?? See crying now :(

Okay. My ex dumped me a month ago. Her reason was that she is going through alot and needs time to figure out her life. Her father died 4 months ago, she has low self esteem, mood swings, and is depressed. So when she dumped me through email, a day after she saw her therapist, she asked me not to hate her and that we had really good potential, but the timing of everyhting sucked because of her. She said that she really hoped we could still be friends and talk and email because thats all she could handle, we also never argued. I am not mad at her, but to break up with me and then expect to be friends is something that I think is hard to do. So I told her that I needed time to get over her before I could be friends with her. I cut off contact because my feelings for her were too strong just to be friends. I did not want to do something stupid and her hate me. I have not talked to her in almost two weeks and do not plan on talking to her through the holidays, what do you think?

Please keep in mind that rent take up 25%, house hold stuff takes up 30%, monthly bills take up 15%. That leave 30% of my take home pay. I want to be fair, but I also want to save for the future. I figure whatever she get I get and equal share the rest can be saved. So how much should my wife and I be allowed to spend out of the 30% left over?

I'm in love with a girl and we dated for 14 months. We broke up and she got over me but i was unable to get over her and she said she still likes me but has a boyfriend. This girl is not a cheater. She had a party and just about everyone was drunk. She was all over her boyfriend but he didnt drink and he left early. I was sleeping over, along with like 10 other people, and me and her made way to her room and i kissed her. (we were both drunk) we started making out and she put her hands down my pants. We are both totally against cheating and when she was done we both flipped out and wondered what we had just done. She is mad at me now for kissing her and she talks to me but she seems like she doesnt want to talk to me. How should me and her handle this? What can i do to make things between us better? me and this guy saw a movie together friday night and we both had a good time. he seems to like me. but on myspace he moved this erin girl in front of me. what ive heard is that she is obsessed with him. i dont see them together so i dont know how he reacts, but it seems to be in a positive way towards her. i like him, but he seems to be drifting into her direction. what would i do to change his mind and make him come back to me? Heres the problem, I've been going out with this guy for a month and some change, we've been doing fine were realli hittin it off, but now i dont see him as much as i use to. i mean i see him cause he works around the corner from my house but i havent spent time with him in a week, it seems as though our relationship is goin down hill. I have been working at my job for over a year. Me and the father of my child have been broken up for over a year. There is this young lady that he had been dating before me. I caught him cheating on me with her and he tried to fight me and say that he did not know her. I had a restraining order filed agasint him and wanted him to stay away from me. The girl that he said that she did not know came to court to be a witness for him and lie for him agasint me. 6 month after all this occured she came to my job and started working at my company. Now, these two just got married to weeks ago. I don't say anything to this girl she constantly tries to rub **** in my face. I just keep on. I have informed HR about her. I don't want her here. I have a higher position than she does, but the question still makes me wander did she follow me here? Is there something she needs from? Why won't she leave.

For the last few days, I have been talking to a lady, actually she is wife of friend of mine, who are seperated for the last few months, and I am a divorced guy for the last 3 and 1/2 years, both of us shared our past experience with our married life, which are very much similar to each other, probably it's a coincident. Now both of us getting close to each other, but I am confused what should I do, to my knowledge my friend and his wife wz 2kids getting divorced, by the way firstly I tried to solve it, but failed. What do u think I should do, I knw this will end up friendship of 25 yrs, and secondly I am getting weak on her, even though we haven't seen each other before. My boyfriend, well, to say the least, is a complete jacka**. He doesn't hit me or force me to do things I don't want to but he is so insensitive. He talks about his ex, and I wouldn't mind if it wasn't on a day to day thing and he puts her on a pedastle. and I can't stand that. and when he calls, he says, "hey,what's up. ... ya, my mom made me call" I really like him, and all, but some of the stuff he does, I can't stand it, I need advice so badly right now. please, any help, and don't put me down for this, okay? Ok, so here it is. I'm not an outgoing girl; I don't look for attention. I think I'm attractive, but not to the mediocre guy. I'm quiet and a good student. I have a boyfriend who I love, who I could see myself marrying, and I know without a doubt he loves me. But i cannot stop thinking, fantasizing, and spitefully pondering this other guy. He is completely self-interested, egotistical, and disrespectful. Everytime he sees me, he manipulates the situation to get us alone. He forces his kisses and cuddles on me, and I admit, I love it. But I will not cheat. I will not even allow myself to be alone with him anymore. The truth is, I know what I mean to these three: I mean nothing to the jerk, everything to myself, and even more to my boyfriend. I refuse to let this jerk get the best of me or my relationship, but at the same time...I can't stop thinking.

im 15, and my parents dont allow me to stay outside past 8 30. i have to be home then. im pretty mature, i call them check up and im careful if something goes on. how can i tell my parents to let me stay longer outside? (btw if your a parent, what time did ur child have to go home at my age)

and my second question is that my parents are really strict on my furture career, i want to do something i enjoy and find interest, but my parents say its a waste of my time and not a good pay. they want me to be a police officer ( i dont mind) but its really hard to get into it, they think its easier than all the careers i've told them i rather be. any ideas on how to change their minds?

I have a close friend who is Chinese she is turning 31 this month. She has been in this country for three years but has never received a nice gift from her friends here.
