Absolutely not… And I‘d flip if my 17 son slept over at a girls house in the same bed…

I would not allow that in my house at any age… it a parents job to set boundaries and expectations of acceptable behavior… that’s not acceptable..

I know some parents these days allow co-ed sleepovers and that kind of ok, maybe if mom and dad are around awake at all times… sleeping areas separate; mom with the girls and dad with the boys…
I know you cant stop them but they should have to sneak around like we did if they are going to do it… and I hope you have educated you daughter about, the risks involve in having sex and taught her how to protect herself.. that goes for boys too…

Over my dead body! I wasn't allowed to have boys in my room at all, not even during the day. I wasn't allowed to have my door closed if there was *anyone* in my room. While my parents were a bit extreme, having your 17 yr old daughter have her boyfriend sleeping over in her bed is condoning teenage sex, and possibly teenage pregnancy. It only takes one time...believe me, I know. She's got more to worry about nowadays than pregnancy anyway. I vote no.

No, I wouldn't, but who would? The thing is, you can't be too strict about it because that could be even worse. Like, just give him a late cerfew or something.. maybe have him leave your house around 1am at the latest. That'll give them plenty of time to spend together. I'm just saying this because I know how your daughter feels as an 18 year old girl with a loving boyfriend myself, but I'm also about to be a mother so I'm thinking like a mom too now. All I can tell you is be careful because she might do it anyway. I did. My boyfriend just parked on another street so my mom would think he had left and I snuck him back in, so it's better to have an open relationship with your daughter and know EVERYTHING that's going on in her life than restricting her completly and have her go behind your back and do it anyway. Simply compromise, that's all..

And about sleeping together.. like I said: she may just do it anyway. Feel comfortable openly talking about it and talk about the risks. There's alot going around today and it's only getting easier and easier to catch. Here's a site with the most common issue among sexually active women and you can search the topics for others, but I'm just telling you this because this is a growing problem today and I wouldn't want ya'll to have to worry about dealing with that. Then there's emotional attachment if things don't work out, but that's a whole different subject! Hope that helps!

Absolutely not. Unless for some strange reason I had lost my mind and had signed a permission for marriage and they were married, then maybe. My daughter is 20, and lives on her own. If she brought a boy home and wanted to sleep with him in her old room, still, no way!

well 17? that's kinda un acceptable and maybe bad parenting. I don't want to make u feel awful but if hes going to sleepover let them sleep in diffrent rooms or just fall asleep on the couch while watching scary movies ya kno?

No. Sleep over, maybe. Sleep together, no. I honestly think there have to be some boundaries set in the family home. I'm her Mom, not her girlfriend.

Absolutely not! And if the 19yo is living at home the answer is still no. If you want to have guys sleepover then you can be responsible, get a job, an apartment and live your life the way you see fit.

No no and no. If they want to hanky panky then they are going to do it no matter what but I will not be promoting it or saying its ok in my house, there is no reason to sleep over if its on accident it would still be a big deal but they wouldnt be doing it on purpose.

NOPE! 17 year old girls think one way....17 year old boys think another. What could start out as harmless fun can end up not so much fun!
