I just accepted a position so that I could move and be near my husband (I am in another country currently). He is in the military and has to live where he is told but I am going to have to take a $12,000 a year pay cut to do the same job I do now. I don't want to move but we have a 3 year old son. Am I being selfish? Should I just move and be happy I found a job?

english language became a global standard, nations speak it in their own way (accents, etc) and this is great, BUT when i came to UK i am discriminated by English people although they understand me and i speak fluent English !

they just focus so much on the way one speaks (English way) that a content seems to be secondary.

I didn't eperience this in US or Canada or anywhere

My gf has been really busy with her honours thesis and uni assignments and has only managed to see me for 20 mins for the past 3 weeks. She says that she gets too distracted by me, but she's gone from being really caring to being so distant. For example she only tells me to take car of myself instead of saying she loves me or misses me. Lately we would be lucky to talk once every 3 days (instead of several times a day before). Exams are coming up and from what she's saying i won't be able to see her for another 3 weeks. I feel hurt by what she's doing.........what should i do?

I was just wondering why it is that so many users of this "questions" site do not want to be contacted either by email or Messenger. Surely if they have a valid question, and yes, they of course can just take the answers posted, but a little interaction, sometimes, is so much more productive. Does anyone have any comments that they might like to post on this. Thank you..

Ok. Me and this girl broke up outta nowhere a few weeks ago. I liked her a lot, but she soon became a very cold person, so I decided it just wasn't working out. Now I sit behind her in spanish class ninth period, and she has these girls she talks to. She keeps throwing digs at me and I was nothing but nice to her. She pissed me off so badly I almost hit her. I'm not looking for a problem with her but she's really becoming a nuisance. Any ideas?

When I met my boyfriend, I thought he was cute. He had a nice smile. But as I got to know him (discovering his integrity and humour among other appealing qualities), he just got sexier and sexier to me. How is it that a person's nature alters our perception of their appearance?

And for some reason, when we're out. we both get stuck for what to say to eachother. like we're shy.. but dont know why. when we're alone. we talk for hours and hours. about anything. its amazing. why does it all change when we're in public???

i am seventeen years old with really strict parents! literally! i can't go to a gym which is a 5 minute walkl from my house! but that is not the problem. i want to go to concerts with my friends but they (parents) won't let me. even when i want to go to go with my sister they make me feel bad. (because they wait up for me and they complain of sleep deprivation or something) i just don't get it! i bought tickets to a concert that costed me an arm and a leg (it means soo much to me to see them though!!!) i don't kno what to say to them...the gig is coming in a couple of months.. my sister isn;t going..actually i'm going by myself! i have plans of telling them i'm going with my friend (one that they trust) she's aware of what i'm going to do too... it's just that i don;t want to keep lying to them.. this sucks! my Dad is a tyrant who isn't about fairness but just lectures me all the time! i'm scared of talking to them about it..
what can i do? any suggestions is good

i was out last night with my sister and a man offered to buy me a drink...i politely said no thank you...five minutes later he appears again with a shot glass of something for me...again i told him that i had said no and meant it...i told him i didnt want the drink and that he could take it away with him...he got really hot under the collar all in my face nasty, called me a b*tch and stormed out of the pub...i didnt even know him...do people like this not realise that when you say no it means no!!! I wonder if he really didnt get it or did he just totally ignore what i said??? Why cant people accept what they hear? what do you think?

My wife has been opening up lately about her fantasies, mainly consisting of being somewhere in a short dress and a guy starts touching her then leads to hot sex. she has also started wearing tighter cloths and strutting her stuff more lately..( she is a very hot woment) we have been married for 17 years and were happy. I think she is starting her sex drive late is it normal for women to open up about there fantasies and stuff?
