I work with this guy and as time has passed we've become pretty good friends. He asked me to go out on "a date" with him, I went, we both had an awesome time, nothing happened, we just had fun. I'd dying to go out again, I know I should just ask but I want to be sure he wants to go and doesn't feel pressured into it, just because I'm asking. So..last night at work, he comes by, we're talking, he makes a phone call (to this little dive bar) to make sure they are open, looks at me and tells me he's going out and didn't ask me to go with him. Before we leave work he comes by again and just stares at me, says "what?" I say "nothing"..we both smile and he leaves, says see ya tomorrow with a wink. Now, did he want me to invite myself or is he trying to get rid of me?? I'm confused! Help!

My Husband and i have have been married 26 years and together for 29 we have been having problems for about 5 years we dont have sex often maybe once every 2 or 3 months we dont hardly talk we dont go out anywhere and our children that were keeping us together are all out on their own and i was hoping that when this happened that things would get better with us but its now worst because now we sleep in seperate bedrooms and i am totally bored with our life and have thought about leaving him and starting over and my depression is really bad i also have a pain pill addiction that no one knows anything about that i want to get help with but he keeps to himself alot and i want to tell him that all this problems we have is not helping me get the help that i know i need and that i need to have his support to help myself but when i try talking to him about our problem he does not talk to me he just shuts up so that is why i cant tell him my problem i know this is my problem and not his.

my wife has a black eye, and i heard that putting something cold (like a bag of frozen peas) will make the swelling go down.
the problem is, she has a black eye because i hit her really hard with a bag of peas.

I have had an event of a partner slamming a door at my face and somehow my inability to handle that seemed to have jeopardized the relationship. What is the best way to handle an angry man? Is it better to let him cool down first or is it better to go after him and try to get things solved right away? I am talking about a regular guy (not a convicted or abuser or drug addicted who spanks women, etc). What is the best way to handle the regular dude when he gets angry and go slamming doors or alike?

I met a guy and we hit it off. We had sex early into our friendship. I regretted it and wanted us to stop being friends. Then he says he wants to make it work - that he wants to be in a relationship. I let him know I was dating around. I asked him if he was seeing anyone else and he said no. He's been upfront about his past relationships in telling me how girls were always acting 'crazy' over him.

I'm not about friendship with benefits so I told him either we're together or we're not friends. Suddenly he's not ready for a relationship, wants to remain friends and open to possibilities in the future. I say no and walk away. I felt bad and decided to give friendship a try. A week later, he's saying that he misses me and I remind him that we're friends.

Two days later, I see him walking with a girl at 7 a.m. which is cool because he and I are just friends. But when he sees me, he literally runs into the nearest building. I acted like I didn't see anything. ---> continues....

I was asked to dinner last week and went out last night with this guy to a Mexican resturant. He was a gentleman and we hit it off great, he even asked if he could meet my family and MY family liked him. It was soooo hard not to kiss him, but I knew it was the first date and would leave somewhat of a bad impression. We both said we had fun and the date started at 6pm and didn't end until 10pm and the whole time we were having fun, laughing and learning about each other, now what though, I don't want to have every date be something that has to do with spending money.. I laugh every time a bad boy hurts you. Why? because you should know better. I don't feel sorry for a stupid woman that falls for that crap. I'll just laugh in your face like I've been doing in the past. One girl told me her bad boy boyfriend cheated on her. I laugh at her and said "what do you expect"? "I'm glad he did it " I told her. I've heard the saying, god won't give you more than you can handle, but I'm starting to doubt that. I can't take much more. I'm a good person. I've been laid off from my job and can't even make ends meet. I'm trying to get my kids through college but I'm failing. I was married twenty years to an unfaithful man, and divorced two years ago. When I finally manage to get free, things get worse. I finally found love, but he told me to leave because he can't love me back. I'm just sitting here wondering when or if things will ever get better. I know things could be worse, and I should be greatful, but its not making me feel any better. Thanks.

There are 2 men in my heart, but of course, I must choose one. One gives me "butterflies" and I think about him all the time......he's a little more unstable and not at kind, but we connect on soooo many levels. I feel he could be a kindred spirit.
The other warms my heart and treats me the way I should be treated. When I think of him, I am happy inside, I feel safe and secure, but it's not the same passion I feel for the first man. We connect but not on the same level as I do with the first man.

My bf came home the other day & I had some friends over so we were smoking in the house & he comes in and says open the windows I'm getting sick, so I said your mother makes me sick but I don't go asking her to open her windows in 45 degree weather was I wrong ? I thought it was funny.
