what is the deal with highschool "drama" going on in the circle of friends long after you've graduated?

Basically, it's their need to be better than everyone else. It's really ridiculous when you think about it, but everyone is simply trying to one up each other and it turns into something ugly and horrible. People latch on to grudges, feelings of betrayal, etc. It's almost masochistic when you think the relationships people stay in. I would tell you to call these people on their drama, ask them why they still pick it at, chances are they won't have a good reason and maybe stop being so immature or they could get really offended and start drama with you... either way you'll weed out the good from the bad friends.

i live in a REALLY small town and it feels like living in 8th grade. it's amazing how people just don't get over the love for the drama of causing problems between other people. they FEED off of it.

people are holding grudges and they pretty much are as immature as when they were in high school. my advice is to try your best not to get in the middle of it all.

who knows, sometimes seems as if people stop maturing after high school cos you half expect all that sh*t to be over when school ends
