exactly what it says, sometimes the timing is wrong, and time away from each other may be what you need.

So here it is, if you break up wioth someone and they come back, they were happy with you. If not they weren't. That isn't always the case though. They make think about it and that phrase isn't the first thing that comes to mind. They might stay away from you in order to not get hurt again. It's really an old and romantic saying, but it isn't always right.

Ok, before you do something WAY stupid, let me explain how exactly you have to do this for it to work:

You have to feel deeply desperately in love with some one, or else this is just something that doesn't work right, and you have to mean every word of it. This person finds some one or something that enchants them and makes them want to leave you so that they may have it (going to a foreign school; dating another person, etc). You tell this person that you love them, and if it makes them happy to do that, then they should do it. You're happy if they are happy. And if later down the road they should come back to you, you will welcome them back with open arms. This means that they love you just as deeply as they love you!

Hint: This only works when you are REALLY in love and REALLY mean every single word. And if the same person takes advantage of this more than once, it is not meant to be. They are just using you.

It means DON'T be clingy. Give the other person some space, or you are going to drive him/her away.

this statement is a test of love, not like. if you truly love someone, you care for them more than your own feelings of loosing them. to love them enough to let go is only surpassed in emotion by their return.

i never agree with this quote. i think it's just plain dumb. nobody gets to "keep" anybody anyway. lovers, husbands, wives, children... are all what God put under our care to cherish. you don't "keep" your loved one. God just lent them to you.
