I split up with my g/f about 5 months ago and she had a 2 month relationship with a guy. My g/f and i remained close mates which was cool even though probably more painful for me. Anyway a month ago we were having a conversation and out of the blue she said to me, you know if u want me just have me, and basically she asked me out. So we got together and agreed to keep things simple. Anyways now and again i wanna take her out but she says she is skint but i said ill pay, she says she dont wanna take my money cus im out of work (student) and says i cant afford it even though i can. So we dont go out, then i ask her round to mine she says yes then the night before cancels cus she has to see her dad, and i wonder if im bein messed around or bein inconsiderate to her situation and commitments. she works at the pub i drink in so i see her there every weekend so its not like i dont see her but all the same i still feel like there is summat odd

So he kissed me once, which could have been a mistake? Now he's done it again?!
If he's not interested then why does he keep kissing me, only to start playing it cool again.
He's sending out all the signs to me on a regular basis, we kiss and then he starts playing it cool, only for the cycle to start over again!
Should I give up on him, or not??
Why do guys have to be such idiots??

Do you think, in terms of eye and hair color, that opposites attract? I've heard that people are often attracted to those who have different physical traits than their own - brunettes to blondes, blue eyes to brown eyes. I started to say that's not true, but come to think of it, most men I've dated and most men who I attract have blue eyes and blonde or light brown hair (I have dark brown hair and hazel eyes). I've dated brunettes, but the attraction wasn't there, not at the level it was with my blonde partners (don't know if it's a coincidence, maybe?). I'm also 5'2 and often date tall men - wondering if the tall men liking short women belief also has some truth to it. I know these things don't apply to everyone, but I wonder, in general, if the opposite attracts theory works? I guess I don't pay enough attention to other couples to know, but in my case, it definitely works.

My friend and her husband both work. He has a 40 hour a week stressful corporate job and makes $85,000 plus bonuses. She works four days a week, 32 hours in the medical field and makes $40,000. Her job is fairly stress freeThey do not have children, just a dog. They agreeded when they first got married that he would care for everything outside the home and she would care for everything inside the home. He has since hired a gardener to care for their lawn. She is stuck doing all of the house cleaning, cooking, laundrey, and caring for their dog. He thinks this is fair because she has one extra day off a week and contributes less to the home financially. But, she is beginning to feel overwhelmed by this. She has tried talking to him, but he stands his ground. My questions is not, what should she do. My question is, should she have to do all of the house work since she works less and contributes less?

we've been dating for 4yrs, just last year when i got back from youth service he started acting funny, i found out about a girl in his life and told him to stop the friendship, he was rigid about it initially but later succumbed but did not keep to it.
Afterwards he started acting more funny, not calling as usual, always busy, spending less time with me, stopped buying gifts for me, missed our anniversary and valentine on the pretext that he wasnt feeling fine and too busy, came extremely late on my birthday without a gift except for icecream and pizza, made sure i didnt show up on his birthday by saying he was travelling and would be coming to Lagos.

Two days after this, he finally showed up and said he was tired of the relationship that my load was too heavy for him to carry.

How do i teach him a lesson he'll never forget in his life, run back to beg and never try it again with another lady, because he made a convenant with me not to break the relationship.

My dad died when i was 3, and my mom rased my sister and I all by herself. Now that i have a good job i try to give my mom all my money. I get the thing i need, but not the things i want. I dont have much money as it is, but would it be wrong to take myself out, or get my gf something nice, or even buy my-self a new movie, or should i just keep giving all my money to my mom. Is it bad to give my money to my mom?

My significant other had been talking to some girl through text messages for a few days- replied to some nasty pics, etc. Well we talked about it, went through all of the nonsense and today for the first time In a week I was feeling alright. My other half wanted to prove to me that they were not still texting so looked to find it on our verizon bill to try and prove it to me. I know they meant - but it just took me like five feet under in my heart. Why?

Now, we can go by weeks without a phone call or a single text message. We email each other almost daily, but are they enough to make sure that he's still thinking of me? We're living in different time zones. That aside, he has a long term gf and I know that, but he never mentions her at all, so it feels to me that he's single. I know I'm living in serious delusion but I'm too much into him to let go for now. There hasn't been any consensus of us being in a formal relationship during these 2 odd months, but we do feel for each other and we say stuff like 'miss u' and 'love u' to each other now and then, albeit via emails.

My boyfriends father died five years ago...I am not sure how...he doesnt really talk about it. He has days where it really bothers him and he gets down...the one and only time he opened up to me about it he said that he just cant deal with the fact that his father will not be there to see him graduate from college,or see him get married, or hold his grandchildren...it was heart-wrenching! I feel so bad and want to comfort him but I dont know how! I cant imagine losing one of my parents...he pulls away from me....do I let him be? I never know what to do...I usually just give him a quick hug and then leave him to himself...but I dont want to come off as uncaring...I love him and I truly hurt for him but I just dont know how to help. Anyone with advice please feel free.....and be sensitive...this is serious.

I had a buddy who I used to work with at another company, we were cool he was kind of feminine acting but he's not gay. He and I became good buddies for about 3 weeks and every now and again he'll shoot me and email just asking what’s going on or career wise. I must admit he and I only became friends because I was the only female where the both of us worked and we both were temps (for the govmt). I wanted to hang out with him because I enjoy his company and feel like he's a "girl pal" of mine, I am worried about asking my fiancé if it's okay if I hung out with him and my cousin together at the mall because I know in the first 2 months of our relationship (we only dated about 2 wks and I didn't take the relationship serious at first) I cheated and that he may not feel comfortable with me having any male friends but we have been together 3 years now and I haven't cheated nor have any intentions (which I do about 2) because he may not accept it. What should I do?

Men only go looking when there is a problem at home, not exciting, not as attractive not as adventurous in the sack or they just whine and complain all the time. Is it that hard to understand that guys do not want to hear that S H I T all the time and that they also want to do exciting stuff not the same old boring routine.

New Soft Drink Pfiser Corp announced today that VIAGRA will soon be available in liquid form and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use as a mixer. It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one. Obviously we can no longer call this a "soft drink" and it gives new meaning to the names of "cocktails", "highballs" and just a good old fashioned "stiff drink".

Pepsi will market the new "concoction" by the name of,

"Mount & Do".

I am 24 years old and have been married 2 years recently i found out my husband was having sex with his boss. I was devestated because my husband and i had spent the last year trying for a baby and the first year of marriage really did not use protection. He had kept saying i was the problem and we had a lot of fights because he thought it was because off the miscarriage i had when i was18 with my first bf. He met me right after and helped me through it. We seperated for 2 months and i started the paper work and so did he for a divorce. While at the bowling ally i actually ran into my ex. bf my first love and the only other guy i dated befor my husband we had seen each other around before and talked. We went out and had some drinks talked about life he turned out to be married 6 months and they had major problems ext. I had sex with him one time thing and now i just found out i am 1 month 1/2 with his child possibly twins.

Let me start out by saying: This pertains to a SERIOUS relationship. I'm 24 and my bf is 26, we live together.

I hate to admit it but our sex life is horrible. We only have sex once or at the MOST twice a week! I've made it known that this is a problem for me. And honestly, I think it's a control issue. It's like he gets a kick out of being able to control when we have sex. He knows I want it all the time and it gives him some sort of satisfaction NOT give it to me. I've tried to understand this and to a point - accept it. But the more I think about it, the more it upsets me.

He doesn't seem to understand that this is hurting our relationship. Sex is not my number one priority. But when you are turned down time and time again, it hurts.

Other than this issue, he's a really great boyfriend. He doesn't try to control me in any other way. I love him and I don't want this to ruin us but I don't know how much I can take.

Has any body else experienced this? What do I do?
