It is not that they hate women it is just that they are scared because it is bad enough we know half of the things they do. They think that all that stuff it their get away. They just want to prove to us that they can fix cars or they just want to show off so you will see them. So don't worry about it you are married right as long as your husband loves not matter what you know then be happy.

I am the same way, accept I love to be dressed to LOOK prissy! Some guys like it some don't my fiance though makes me feel uncomfortable sometimes when I do things because he says that I am not delicate (heavy handed and not too gentle), or a mouth of a sailor at times! Well, I he's with me so I gather he likes it!

I'd hang with you! Seriously...you're hanging with the wrong guys if they look down on you being something of a tomboy! Well, I'm sure your husband loves you...so no need to worry too much...

I prefer girls like that! I'd rather be with a girl who is "one of the guys" because you don't have to be afraid to be an actual guy around them, all those prissy girls want guys who get mani/pedi's and tan, and get eyebrow waxing and stuff like that...what ever happened to being a man?

Wow, that's the first time that I've heard guys didn't like that. Most guys enjoy a woman that is comfortable enough to hang with the guys and still be feminine. Perhaps you are meeting the wrong guys. I think they find women with "tom boyish" qualities, sexy!
Sounds like you are meeting sexist men, steer clear of them!
Best Wishes!

I find girls like that unattractive, yes. If they're too boyish I feel like they're too familiar to me (in a sisterly type of way). Once that happens, you can forget any kind of romance or tension of any kind, it's gone. Kind of like if some guy were all into makeup and fashion - you'd either think he was gay or a suck up.

lol its wierd to them to see a female that can do what some of them cant do.. i work on cars and i get it all the time.. they are used to the idea that woman need men for them to do these things for them and their not used to us handling our own they are used to when a woman cries when she gets dirty or she doesnt like to just hangout and chill or do much work.. and when its an attractive female it throws them for a bigger loop but some men love that.. a girl that can get down and dirty she can be one of the guys she doesnt really need a man for everything she can handle her own..
