so there is this girl in my AP history class and Honors math class. she is basically perfect: beautiful, blonde, smart, and fun to be around. I didnt know her until this year and i introduced myself and asked if she wanted to hang out sometime and she said yeah. so i went to her house about 2 weeks ago and we had a good time talking but nothing romantic happened. but we have been calling each other for the past week helping each other out with math and history. i really do like her and i know i would be happy to be more than just friends with her. i dont know if i should ask her to homecoming and risk our friendship and a good study partner. thoughts?

My boyfriend and I are on a break. Actually he thinks that he isn't good for me and he wants me to find someone better. His father and mother have always influenced his life and because their marriage didn't work out he is afraid of women and the love and pain that being together can sometimes cause. "Anyway." I told him that I thought we should think about our priorities and call it quits but that I wasn't sure that I wanted things to be over with, I just neeed time... he'd fibbed to me about a few innocent things and I just didn't want them to escalade into something worse. I changed my mind about breaking it off and went to him and told him that a day later. He wouldn't talk to me or touch me. I packed my things and left. He stopped telling me he loves me. He told me he hasn't written me off yet, he is just ashamed because he can't buy me things and give me what I want until he graduates college. Is there hope??

Okay, I'm falling big-time for this dude in my class. Thing is, he "loves" this other girl who's already rejected him. I'd tell him how I feel, but he's really immature sometimes, and would probably tell all his friends and embarass me. Should I just tell him? I go to a small school, so what one person knows, everybody knows, and I don't know if I want to risk the chance of being humiliated like that.

Is this not a great business Idea? MOBILE BIKINI WAXING? We come to your house and wax you in privacy?
I think this could be the business idea of the decade. Does anyone want to invest som captial into making my dreams come true? Would you as a consumer, order this service if it was just as affordable as doing an in shop wax? Plus think of all the cooters I would get to wax.

My daughter confided something in me, that is very personal and could jeopardize her whole future, it was some information I really wish I didn't have to hear, but I did, although she was wrong and I tried to help her thru her decision, I broke her confidence in me not to say anything and shared it with another family memeber because I was so very worried about her, it then leaked out and now the whole family knows and she is embarassed and worried about how everyone feels about her, we all want her to just make the right choices and clear this matter up, my son says I had to talk to someone about this, and she shouldn't be upset with me, she says she isn't, but she hasn't called, I never mean't to hurt her or betray her trust in me, how can I make her understand, I was only trying to get answers on how to help her. We are very close, and it breaks my heart that I let her down, do you think she will forgive me.

ok heres the situation. i've been dating this guy for 6 months, and i love him (i think), but i feel that he doesn't have time for me. he keeps telling me things will change when he gets his latest business venture up and running. if i stay with him i know i could have a good, stable future with all the houses, cars, cloths and what not. sounds good right?! well, i'm also inlove with my best friend of 2 years, who is married, well going through a divorce. i know he has the time for me. and he understandsa me and knows everything about me. but staying with him, would be pretty much living pay check to pay check, and i don't have a problem with that. he has recently asked me to move in with him.
i'm so confused.

When it comes to approaching someone I'm interested in, I can't help but to be stuck in this mindset that the guy has to approach me first. My reason being is that I know if a guy is interested, then he'll come up to you, no? Lately I've been so impatient. I want to go up to a guy that I find interesting and ask him out but I think that is kind of weird. Also is it weird if the girl is the one pursuing? Like doing all the talking or trying to get together and stuff. Just wondering because I make myself look dumb.

My soon to be ex-husband has supplied a check stub that seems awfully low. He has also quit the second job he had once he was served with divorce papers. He sends irregular payments of $300 for 2 children. I live in GA if that helps. The second job brought in almost $12000 a year and his primary job is supposed to be $31500. How can I handle this?

Things in the family have been pretty peaceful except with dad. He jumps at everything we say, pick out sub-points, and make a big fuss over it.

Mom & brother has stop arguing with him whenever he launches into one of his rants, and I'm a tad tired of reasoning with him each time. Should I just remain silent, because he thinks that mere family time and no disagreement equates to closeness, but its sad to see him losing family and friends. How can i salvage the situation?

She dresses like me, talks like me and even drives the same car as me, just different color. I did everything first, I swear! But some when I casually ask her about it she pretends like she didnt notice. She will say say something like: Oh, yeah, I didnt even notice it till u brought it out. Its annoying! Or am I just being paranoid. My family is noticing it too!
Its annoy

First off I'm a 26 year old guy...and count myself as fairly liberal person (pro-choice, anti-war, etc etc). So please don't attack me as a woman hater = ).

It seems to me that feminists seem to miss the whole point of gender roles in the family. I don't think most men out there want to work and support the family, but they do it because its what is necessary. I've seen my father go to a job he's not crazy about for the past 20 years to support the family.

In my opinion most the arguments I've heard from feminists seem to lack a large degree of common sense on how the actual mechanics of a family should work. At the heart of the matter feminism seems to be very selfish, where the women would rather put herself in front of the needs of her family.

I have a really great bf and I love him more than life but recently I have been having some problems with controlling my jealous nature. He is married....wait! It`s not like that! He`s legally seperated and has been for 5 months before we started dating. We have a really awesome relationship and I love being with him but I have a REALLY hard time with the fact that he is technically still married. I met his wife once and she is a horror. I can totally see why he is divorcing her. The problem is I live with him in the house they bought together. When I first moved in, everywhere I looked there was something from their life together staring me in the face. I have lived with him for 4 months and pretty much got rid of everything from "them" in the first couple weeks I was here. Or so I thought. The other day I was cleaning out our bedroom closet and came accross some pictures and notes that were.....let`s say " of the sexual nature". I was immediately upset and......continued..........
