The guy is nice but,it is old talking on the phone for mnths,he has been here to visit 4 days and calls me to much for my liking!

Firsty reason out with him that the relationship is not to the intrest of both of your futures and as you stated he seems to be a nice guy assure him that you can stay good friends and catch up whereven possible.
Then slowly you can let him know that you are intrested in someone else and how the other person is responding to your love & affection, try not to get the long distance guy to be a go between the new relationship

Tell him that you either need to move closer to each other or break it off. It IS a very straining situation to say the least. Relationships are hard anyway. If you have one with a lot of distance between each other, then it's that much harder. Treat it as a regular relationship. If your needs are not being met, address the issue. Either way, I hope you're okay.

Ive been in a long distance relationship for a year and 3 months and its hard.. but if you really want to try talk to him by phone and tell him your feelings and what you need for your relationship to workout..

well if that is the case and you don't see him in person. Then I guess you have to break up over the phone... cause he probably doesn't want to make the trip up to spend 5 minutes getting dumped and then go back home
