my ex girlfriend and I have gotten together and broken up twice. The other day she told me that she notices a huge difference in me, mainly that I seem stressed, and sad, and let everything bother me when I am not with her. I admit life is alot better with her in it and I probably do act this way, but can it really be this noticeable? Why do I keep doing this?

Our 9 yr anniversary is coming up soon. We have 3 children and tight on money. I normally cook us a late dinner, after we have put the kids to bed early. I would like to try to do something different. I am not sure if I can find a sitter for the kids or not.... I am game for any ideas. Anyone have any inexpensive ones? Thanks

I love the guy, but can't stand to be with him. he has a short fuse a hot temper. And very dependent on me emotionally. We've been together for 4 years. We also live together. How do I end it as quietly as possible. I'm affraid of what he might do. The smallest things can set him off. I want to just leave, pack my stuff while he's at work and move to one of my parents house. Anyother ideas?

Thank you for all of your responses. Some good advice and some...different suggestions;thanks. Ultimately my question is now, when she says she will do whatever it takes to make all of this up to me,as sincere as she may seem,I don't know what it will take. How can I trust her actions and her words,as much as I want to be with her?

It's just that everytime I thing about EVERYTHING that needs to be done, I get this 'icky' feeling in my stomach. What's up with that!?

As mentioned in part 1 im not being accused of being a slapper for turning a guy down - now the way Id LIKE to deal with him is ignore him point blank, but as one of my friends just pointed out - hes a rugby player - thus spending lotsa time with other guys - and Im now worried he could be giving me a seriously bad reputation. Should I tackle him on it or let it go or what?? Thanks in advance for all your answers - you guys are the best! xx

My cousin has been married to a man who is twice her age for about 3 years now. (She is her husbands 3rd wife) Our family has pretty much dissapproved of this relationship from the start. He is very controlling, but to our knowledge, has never been physically abusive to her. They currently share a 4 year old daughter. He constantly badgers her about unfaithfulness (her cheating on him). He is always pessimistic about life. She had recently been giving us clues that she was fed up with the relationship, and we really thought she was going to get a backbone and leave. Well, to make a long story short, she announces to our family yesterday that she is indeed pregnant again! I know that she is unhappy about the situation, and I found out through a close friend of hers today that my cousin's husband questioned the paternity of the baby the second he found out. I want to give her some useful advice. I know she will not terminate this pregnancy. Any ideas?

My theory- I believe there is an undiscovered chemical reaction that occurs when men have sex with women. I think the vaginal walls are lined with a fluid that erases the memory of wives, children and grandchildren.
I am constantly stunned and amazed at how men can be married for 30, 40 or 50 years and lose thier wives and then remarry just months after burying her. Almost all of them have nothing to do with their children and grandchildren after their wives die and new women move into their lives. These new wives take over all communications with their "new" husbands "ex" families and they systematically break down the bonds with children and grandchildren until the man has little to no contact at all the people with whom he spent most of his life.

There must be some kind of chemical reaction between the penis and the vagina that erases the significance of anyone the man knew before.

I personally know 23 men who remarried less than a year after losing their wives.

I am currently in college...graduate in december 2006. My boyfriend already graduated and is working in the electrical union. He makes decent money and they are sending him to school one day a week for free. So he gets paid for 32 hrs a week. He isn't to happy with his job and is considering quitting it. He gets full benfits from his job now...which if we get married and have children it will cover all of us...and if he goes into this private company he wont get anything. There are pros and cons to both jobs. NEW JOB- only 10 mins away from home, company vehicle, works locally in town. STAYING AT OLD JOB-has to drive his own truck, generally 45 minutes away..gas is a killer! He needs to consider our future...so...do you think that he should leave his job and get a new one or should he suck it up for 3 more years and be his own boss and make $30 hr after he is finished with the schooling they are sending him too? please help !
