Thank you for all of your responses. Some good advice and some...different suggestions;thanks. Ultimately my question is now, when she says she will do whatever it takes to make all of this up to me,as sincere as she may seem,I don't know what it will take.How can I trust her actions and her words,as much as I want to be with her?

She is saying that because she means it! Unfortunatley there is not a lot that she can do because making it right will have to come from within you. You will have to make yourself feel better about the situation and you have to learn to trust her again. She is just telling you that no matter what you need to make that happen, she will do it! It means everything and it means nothing.
She has nothing in mind but what she is saying is she is so sorry for what happened and that whatever you need to happen that will help you understand how she feels she will do.
Men would immediately try to read something sexual into it. Does it mean she would do anything I want her to sexually?
That is the farthest thing from her mind. What she is hoping is you understand how much she wants to make your relationship right. And these are the words she has to relay that message.
And while it is very hard for a man to tell another what a woman thinks I think if she didn't truly feel this way you would not have heard those words. She may have ask to get back together but with very little commitment on her part.

Well you really have to look at it with out your emotions involved!!! ( i know easier said than done) but a relationship is based on trust and love!!!! if you feel you cannot trust her an more you probably wont be able to have a very good relationship with her.... it may turn into a big mess and end badly. don't let your emotions cloud your judgement on this!!!
On the other hand you may be able to trust her again but all of this takes time!!! and as long as she can respect this and respect you while you take your time to heal and maybe trust again than it may very well work!!! I f she is will to try her hardest i say it would be a waste not to let her!!!!ou never want that nagging "what if" feeling!!!!

When people say that they will do whatever it takes to make it up to you, for a while that is true. But, then you will start to notice the relationship going backwards and then you'll have the same problem. We should try to give people the benefit of doubt when it comes to love. Then we tend keep repeating the same destructive cycle. I would recommend that you start over as friends and gain her trust that a way. Then if it builds to a better relationship that would be great. But, if its better that you and her remain friends then by all means remain friends.

It means she loves you and she'll do anything to prove it. So give her some time to prove it. Don't worry about her words right now. Let her actions do all the talking and if you don't like what they're saying, end it.

words won't work because she blew that by lying before.
she wants to keep you, so give her a chance to let her actions prove it. It will take some time to rebuild trust.

She means that she really does care for you and will try to make you happy in any way she can. Sit and talk with her and find out everything that is on her mind, and in turn share what is on your mind.
