For our wedding my parents/relatives put about $1000 in a mutual fund. It was to help establish ourselves when (& if) we return to the US (we live in UK). As it looks unlikely we'll return to US w/in the next 5 yrs or so & as we could really use the money to move, I approached my dad & asked if I could get the money to help pay for a larger flat (me, hubby & 7 mnth old son in studio flat, ouch). Deposits here can be brutal, & after hefty battle the HA is refusing to give us a flat because we "don't have enough points". My folks refused, stating that we should try to earn the money & that hubby should get a job. Whilst I appreciate that this money was for special use, I work 2 jobs whilst hubby's full time carer of our son (personal choice for us both) and money is tight. We'd like to move out asap, and not have to wait 6-7 months to save the ££ up. We are not lazy people and we wouldn't have asked, but we exhausted all other options. Are we in the wrong?

I always complain, that is my imperfection. And he has done nothing wrong. I love him so much, and I don't want to lose him. But he has asked me if I'd like to break up, because he feels that he's constantly letting me down, constantly hurting me. I couldn't bear to lose him, and I've told him that. I'm trying to change, just for him, but I don't think it's working...

How many girls will kill or grab a bug and throw it out without freaking out? How many girls can't, and have to get your man to do it for you?

I have been with this guy for almost 4 years now. Our realtionship started out a lil rocky but we are still together and still trying to work things out in this relationship. Early on in the relationship, I found out from one of his relatives that he had a baby on the way. But, he waited two years to come clean about the whole thing. He had met me while he was still living with his baby momma. She got pregnant the same month we met. Last year, he just told me that he just stopped messing with her in 2004 (while we were 2 years into OUR relationship) We worked things out even after all this. Then came the drama. His baby momma started acting crazy (breaking into his house, pouring bleach on his clothes, stabbing him with a knife,)I've tried my best to b patient wit this situation. Last month his baby mom gave birth to a new baby boy. She says its his..he says its not. His whole family says its his...But i STILL LOVE HIM and I want us to work.. what am i to do

There's this[really shy] guy......in the begginning of the year I found out from one of my friends that he had a crush on me. I'd never really noticed him before [he goes to my church] and would've never really taken a double glance at him, had it not been for the fact he had a crush on me. Ok so a couple of months go by and I'm still pretty confused about my feelings for him. I guess I really did like him in the beggining, and he sort of grew on me. I'm not allowed to date till I'm 16, but he told me he'd wait for me. The point is, I've been telling everyone that I like him and he really likes me and he thinks I like him the same way, but the thing is, I just don't know how I feel about him. I'm so confused. He's got such a sweet personality...did I mention he's really shy? And he's so....inexperienced in bf/gf relationships [as am I] (meaning I'd be his first gf vice versa ect.) I know you can't really get into my head and say 'oh you like him' and all but from my POV wat would u do?

I have been married for 2 years and every time the I make love to my wife all she wants me to do is go down on her and then have intercourse. She doesn't even like me to hold her after. I tried talking to her about it but she just says that is how she is and she is just not a typical woman.

I have been moved around many times, and find it hard to make real friends. One person, who I have known since the 4th grade talked to me when I lost contact with all of my other friends when moving out of state. We would talk everyday for about 2 hours a day, which is expensive. I recently moved back home, where she lives and we go to the same school. She introduced me to her friends, and I started hanging out with them in the morning since her and I have no classes together. Most of the other people that hang out with us are guys. I know three of them very well. She recently started "dating" a guy, and now she doesn't talk to me anymore. We are on summer break, and none of them call/talk to me except her ex. I am really not good at meeting new people, but people in my family say that these people are not my true friends, and that I should make new ones. Do you agree with my family? Why or why not? What do you think I should do?

Do you expect your "faithful" man to perform like "The Maintenance Man" if you only call him for service every other month an still expect him to remain faithful? These are just arguments that I have had with some female friends.

Sometimes I leave my house in the morning with every good intention to have a good day, a good attitude, and make the best of everything. Then there is some A$$ who ruins my day from the vey beginning. On a busy holiday weekend a lot of people are out running errands. Waiting your turn at 4 way stops is a pain, but it is necessary. I waited and this prick descides he wasn't going to wait. I honked at him and he smiled and waved. I made sure to getright next to him at the light and cuss him and his wife out. THEY LOOKED SUPRISED!!! WHY????? OK, that is over, you try to move past it and take another start to the day. Then for some strange reason, the person in front of you and of course on your side are driving minivans and refuse to obey the speed limit and the rules of the road and will NOT get out of the fast lane and are basicly holding you hostage at 45 in a 55mph zone. I am a normal person but have become a homicidal maniac behind the wheel. Do you feel this way too?????

We dated twice. We both like each other. The first time, I went to his office, he was excited and when I said I was leaving, he asked to hug me and he was on me, but he didn't dare to touch my breasts. The second time, when we dated, he was so excited and touched my body. When we first had sex(by hands), he was nevous and I didn't feel his erection for the two times. I guess, he is suffering from erection dysfunction or something wrong with his organ. Another thing I know is he (43 years old, never married), most likely is a she. After that we didn't date. Anyhow, I just keeping thinking of him, of his kindness, politeness, being considerate of others. What should I do with this? How can I get rid of him out of my mind?

My father-in-law has emphazema and decided now that he almost died to quit smoking. We have bought him a cordless phone so he doesnt have to get up to answer or call anyone. He got a coffee maker rather than him going to his local coffee dive every morning. He is capable of making it.
My husband who works a 50hr week, has me and our 3 boys at home, gets up EVERY morning and gets his Dad coffee and a newspaper. This leads him to getting to work late and thus staying late and missing dinner with us. This has been for 2 months. I understand my husband is worried about his Dad, but EVERY DAY? It is 9:53 am and he has already called asking if he's getting coffee this morning or not. He has become quite demanding and my husband says he feels bad saying no more. I suggested to arrange 1-2 mornings a week to see him, the other days he can use his coffee maker or get one of my husand's 3 siblings to help out, and a subscription to the paper. Am I being mean What can I do to change this?

If you were to want to become better at being socialble, do you think it would be more helpful to spend most of your time and energy on meeting new people as often as possible, or developing your own current relationships?

and if we could get together this weekend and he said we'll talk later. He works nights so I understand. Now is this a good sign? Remember we had sex the first night he came back to me after waiting for him for 5 years. He was under the influence but he really wanted me and I really wanted him on every level. So is it? It took him 2 days. Oh yeah and remember, he had been drinking so he had some impotency problems going on but we worked around that.
