i said my friend could stay at my house for a couple of days as she had to leave her uni accommodation - now she's moved ALL her stuff in, hasn't got a job and isn't paying me any rent or bills and it looks like she intends to stay the entire summer and beyond. i'd feel really rude telling her to move out and i don't know what to do

When my girlfriend and I have a disagreement, this often results in an argument. I understand that conflict is a normal part of a relationship, and that it is important for both parties to be willing to deal with this by compromising. I think my girlfriend finds this very difficult to do - it often feels to be 'her way or no way' - and if I suggest a compromise she accuses me of not thinking of her and always thinking of myself/other people.

How can I encourage a more peaceful & understanding relationship?

Two effective examples I have seen.

One woman stood in the doorway of my office at work and hugged one side of the doorframe and rubbed herself against it all while talking to me about a business-related issue. She was very nonchalant about the whole thing.


One woman I took to the amusement park took the opportunity to press herself very hard into my frontside while we were on a ride where I was sitting in back and she was sitting in front.

Im 24 years old now but there are still things I want to accomplish in my life. I think those things are reasonable. I want to drive truck over the road for a few years. I want to finish my degree in computer programming. Id like to own a rental property or two.

...and id like to get all that type of stuff done so that when im about 30 I can devote my full attention to raising a family.

Is that too late to raise a family?
Do you think at that age ill even be able to find a decent woman who doesnt already have children?
is it stupid to try and plan your life like that?
