I just broke off a 3 1/2 year relationship with the same kind of thing. I should have done it a long time ago. It was hard, and I think we still love each other, but we weren't meant to be. I think you should get out now before you waste any more time or end up hating each other. It hurts, but if you're feeling trapped now, just think of how you're gonna feel in another year. Good luck.

If there is something about her, and you love her....why do you want out? If you just want to be a player and play the field, that's a weak excuse. That's something you should have done before trying to be monogamous. Now you are in the situation you are in. If you want to be a male ho...go for it. But, if you love her, and there is something about her try other things in your sex life. Such as threesomes with other girls. She might be into it. If not, let her know you are and it's always been a secret desire for you to try threesomes...pluralize it so she won't all think "ok, I can try ONE". Just explain that you are at the point where everything about her is driving you crazy in a bad way and you need to be without her for awhile. Honesty is best, it will help her realize what she is doing. Though don't expect a friendly first few days.
