no one can make you angry but yourself ; I mean if you know yourself and know that what behavior makes you angry and why it makes you angry , you will know that you will get angry if you want to !! strange , huh ? but it is real ;) good luck !

Meditation is the best thing. If you don't know how to do it, just Google® it--I mean...Yahoo!® it and see what you can find on meditation. It rilly, rilly works. I've been doing it for some six months now...actually, I was a pretty calm person to begin with, though I used to be a very angry person about 15, 16 years ago. Several years before I even tried any meditation, during a long stretch when I was constantly angry at my father, I learned to observe myself. How do you observe yourself? When you are angry, or you are arguing with another person, pretend you are a third person in the room looking at yourself. When you are yelling and screaming or throwing your tantrums, "see" yourself in that condition; observe your anger. Follow your actions. After a few moments you will realize how ridiculous you look gnashing your teeth or stomping your feet or throwing a vase across the room or breaking all your sister's albums (like I did). A meditation teacher told us once, "If you could just see all the hideous, evil beings or demons that are surrounding you when you are arguing with someone, you would choose never to argue with anyone again." When you are ranting and raving, though you may not believe it, it is because a negative being has entered your body/mind. Through meditation, you learn to clear your mind and get rid of all negativity--or at least control it. Becoming aware of it is the first step; learning to control it takes a little more work, but it is attainable. For me, I noticed when I was extremely angry, I would bite my lips until I'd cut the inside of my lips with my teeth and give myself canker sores. I learned to observe myself on my own, years before I even tried a meditation class. But meditation class does help in clearing other negative things from your mind, body, and soul, not just anger, through the receiving of "deeksha" (Divine energy). You are letting negative beings control you (whether you believe in that or not), and you are just hurting yourself. Calmness and serenity is the best answer to anger.

I get angry a lot too, I'm really sensitive, anyway, what I do is get a large pillow and start punching it and throwing it, sometimes I start taking a wooden piece and start breaking it into halves, taking anger on stuff usually controls my anger, I also write in a diary, hope these advice can help you!

Well, I will tell myself I'm playing in a movie. And the director is myself, I think no director would let his movie drown. So, I'll control the anger and won't let it control me. Try to feel stupid when you feel anger and the anger feels shame and goes home!

Why do you want to control your anger ? It's given by God so there has to be some reason behind getting angry.....Like Tigers are born to kill...deer are born to be victim of tigers...!! Haver you ever heard of Tiger talking about eating grass ??

try to see what making you angry what's to learn from it pick it apart try to find positive outcome sometimes for me that helps but tricky if source of your anger your other half
