Do you expect your "faithful" man to perform like "The Maintenance Man" if you only call him for service every other month an still expect him to remain faithful? These are just arguments that I have had with some female friends.

I need to also state thatthese women I speak of are in their mid to late forties. And I'm not saying that these women have lost their drive, I'm saying their drive is in neutral most of the time.

The term "Maintenance Man" refers to the actual act of intimacy between 2 committed adults. Not necessarily married but they are committed.

I think that sex is a huge part of a relationship. If one of the people isn't making it any sort of priority, I would suggest getting out of the relationship, if the other person isn't happy with that. Sex reinforces the bond in a relationship. I know a lot of guys that cheated on their spouses and its because of lack of sex. Not that it's right to do that, but if you don't try to keep your man happy in the bedroom and otherwise (and the vice versa for the man) then your relationship will slowly deteriorate.

Any man that use lines like "maintance man" and ask questions like should he remain faithful,is just looking for an excuse to go out and "cheat" just be a man and go get you some *** and tell the truth i want it to experience some new piece of ***..... there is no such thing as female sex drive and nothing is wrong with their age.... women as their get older they get better, but the men as their get older they want younger is that what you wanted?? the opinion of a mature woman you have it.. one that see bull crap from miles away..... and if the case was truly that your woman is a little bit cold in bed is not the age is the rutine what kills the spark in a relationship for that we have sex therapist for married couple or engaged couples and we have kinky ideas like dressing up and make it fun.... do not use excuses to establish the reason why you could go out and be unfaithfull that is just crapppppppppppp.damn im good now can i get my ten points please..... nahhhh is ok this one was on me!!!!!!!!!

Just to clarify something...are you the maintenance man for all of "these" women? And if so, why are you concerned about "being faithful"? If it is just one woman you are concerned about, then what's going on in her life? Is she a career woman and single mom? Maybe she isn't ready for anything more "committed".

hmmmm.... there must be a reason she only needs maintenance every other month. maybe he's not adjusting the pipes properly... or maybe she just can't be bothered to have any work done. still, the maintenance man needs to remain faithful. i think some more inspecting is required to see where the real blockage lies, yes?

If you are married and or in a COMMITED relationship, then regardless of how little you "get it", you are to remain faithful. Especially if you are married. If your just dating.... then maybe consider ending it if it's that important to you.
On the other hand...... From the marriage view point, you and your partner give up your bodies to eachother. It is a sacrifice sometimes, but I feel that a woman should give that to her husband, and so should he do the same for her. It does wonders for the relationship. It keeps you from looking at other woman and entertaining the thought of being with one of em. And if you ask me, if all it took for my husband to not be thinking about it elsewhere was for us to have more sex, then trust me... more sex it is then. Even when I have no desire to do so, I will suck it up to satisfy him, for in the end result we will both reap the benefits from that in our relationship.
Even if you are just dating.... but serious.... you need to communicate with her about how it makes you feel, and if she cares so much about you, she would try harder for you. If she is unwilling????? Hummm.
If she expects you to remain faithful..... she needs a wake up call!!!!

a mature minded minded woman wouldn't do such "maintenance calls". A mature minded woman would keep seeing her man, until the relationship faded,or they fell out of love.
