i used to watch world vision alot, & i noticed that some places out there have some serious prob.s needing delt w/. the kids' parents have died leaving the kids 2 care for themselves (what was there a war or something?), the kids are literally living in run-down shacks (thank gosh those are tropical areas or theyd die in the winter), the water in the nearby streams is disgusting & full of parasites etc that also kill the kids, they dont really have any food-@ least not proper kind. & YET HERE WE ARE TAKING ALL OUR NECCESITIES 4 GRANTED!!!! as if its a stupid treat we could live w/out, & most of us obsess over getting rich & having cool carz/tvs/home theatre systems, & other junk we REALLY dont need! & alot of us (not including me-i have them on my mind almost all the time) dont even seem 2 think about those poor starvin kids, we're 2 busy tryin 2 get rich & find a selfish way of dealing w/ it!! im disgusted w/ most of the ppl in this world! somebody really otta bring those kids HERE...

obviously its not a big deal.. algore doesnt care.. cause he flys around in his private jet and he has 5 huge houses that consumes 20 times more energy than a normal person.. if you believe global warming is a big deal go to the middle of the desert and pitch a tent and live there for the rest of your life.. dont live in a city's suburb and drive two or more cars and live in a nice house AND say that you believe global warming is a big deal...
i dont think its a big deal and by the way... i really dont care... i have a a H2 hummer, a lincoln navigator and a jeep rangler...

I don't believe in global warming. I've studied it long and hard, and have found it to be a hoax that the media is pushing at we the people, simply because adopting orphans is out of style, and they need a new "cause" to care about.

However, a woman in my art class doesn't seem to agree with me. Could I get some more points to bring up to her the next time we talk about it?

One can analogize the two in many ways, most specifically to the medieval roman church, showing that it has all the facets of a religion. Al Gore is the Papal Figure; Kyoto protocol is the holy book; IPCC is the Vatican/Lateran Council; "Carbon Offsets" and "Carbon Credits" are the indulgences(for all of our carbon sins); the unquestionable, undebatable authority and infallibility of the "scientific consensus" on global warming(infallible doctrines); and the inquisition of heretical scientists(ones who do not agree with this infallible consensus).

in it? Or is the soda density changing. Maybe the CO2 in the air that Al Gore is talking about is infusing into my Mountain dew and making the soda less dense than it ever was before.
Something needs to be done. Global warming and lead poisoning is making my ice cubes sink. Just imagine if the world's ice sheets sank ! We would all be dead as fried chicken !!

Nobel prize - global warming - Al Gore - Pachuri and IPCC - whether they were right has been answered. With all these nobel thoughts can I bring back the little sparrows to my home in Bangalore, India? For the past 15 years, I am searching for the little bird which haunted me by nesting in our home. I had chased them once upon a time and now I am yearning to see them again, in vain. NOBLE thoughts have to be cherished and honored.
