Muslims?.....Americans?....Africans?....people who deny global warming exists?....the poor?...the rich?...Iran?...North Korea?...religous people?...non-religious people?...soldiers?...civilians?...people who contribute most to global warming?...the sick?....disabled?....WHERE WOULD YOU START!?...or perhaps we've already started....with the gays and black Africans through the aids virus!?...Strange how the most deadly virus to effect us in recent years...seems to mostly effect these people?...uh by the way...don't say 'people who ask duff questions on yahoo answers!'...as that would be a little predictable!...

I recently purchased a trolley on wheels and am putting my waste paper in it and also plastic and metal bottles and cans. I am amazed how quickly it is filled up. The amount of waste we can recycle is phenonomyl. Are you taking it seriously?

my HISTORY teacher told tha class that at some point due to gobal warming, the earth will fall into another ice age.

is this possible ?

is it likely ?

and why ?

mainly im asking because she is my history teacher and not my biology teacher....... and I find it very ironic that "warming" could lead to an ice age.

Let me preface by saying I'm a Republican... so...

1. I'm fairly sure global warming is happening.

2. Not convinced (yet) that it's all our fault, versus some natural warming cycle corresponding with us being on the tail end of the last ice age, or some other natural explanation.

3. Not convinced that it is the doomsday scenario everyone tells us. Seems like it might just be nothing more than a challenge that we have to adapt to. Rethink our policies about settling on coastlines, conserve water, rethink agricultural practices, etc.

4. HOWEVER... Doesn't it make sense to go ahead and find a full replacement for fossil fuels, say - in the next 25 years or so - JUST IN CASE? Seems to me we'd have MUCH cleaner air, AND we wouldn't be dependent on foreign energy sources from unstable governments that hate our guts. What am I missing?

As soon as the climate changes we have everyone predicting the end of the world, either through an ice age or global warming, yet this world has survived through all these cycles for billions of years.

We've invested millions, if not billions, in weapons that have the ability to destroy Earth in minutes. If some of this money and effort went instead into developing items to save the planet, couldn't we develop items that could eliminate the hole in the ozone layer?

USA uses a quarter of the worlds energy.
Should it carry on, refusing to drastically cut, its global emissions?
America, China and India produce the most. Should the rest of the world demand USA to do something?

Let's face it, global warming is here to stay. The ice caps are going to melt anyway, so let's just get it over and done with, so the eco-nutters can stop whinging. Nuke the ice. America should do this, as they are already the biggest polluter. Palm trees in Skeg? Bring it on!
