Saving the planet.?

We've invested millions, if not billions, in weapons that have the ability to destroy Earth in minutes. If some of this money and effort went instead into developing items to save the planet, couldn't we develop items that could eliminate the hole in the ozone layer?

That is the real problem is to decider exactly what need to be done . Like the hole in the ozone layer it is over the poles at the same time every year. Are u telling me that the CFC wander around the world and suddenly all rush to the south pole to eat a hole in the ozone layer. Wrong There is nothing wrong with the hole except it provides money to study . It perfectly a normal thing and what radiation that comes through the hole cannot harm anybody. The ozone layer is formed when the solar winds collide with the earths magnetic field. All this happens so high I don't think u can do anything about it.
