Do you know of any other creature that exploits, and virtually destroys the very environment that supports its own life?

I really struggle to understand this. Could there really be another creature, which is actually more stupid?

How can anybody with an ounce of intelligence bring another child into the world knowing this?

Unfortunately I am a man, but would much prefer it if the planet were run by woman (but not Margret Thatcher).
So long as they didn’t spout on about be equality to men… After all why would anybody in there right mind want stoop that low?

If we stopped buying "cut" Christmas trees and started buying live ones, would it slow down global warming? Getting fake ones wouldn't help because it would increase plastic production creating more air pollution. But what if people decided to buy live trees and replant them? Wouldn't it make some bit of difference?

My understanding of composting is that the vegetable matter decomposes to many of its base elements and releases some gases in the process. I assume that a lot of this is likely to be methane.
If methane is a large byproduct of composting, then it is also a large contributor to global warming.
What is the greenhouse gas cost of the alternatives to composting. i.e. having a dump truck haul the waste to a landfill and bury it where it may decompose slowly over many years, or possibly not at all.

First of all, I would like anyone who does not believe in global warming to watch the movie 'An Inconvenient Truth.' Many people resolve not to watch it solely because it is by Al Gore and they do not particularly like him. However, he has not done the slideshow for political reasons, but to help this earth. All you have to do is rent it and have an open mind, I guarantee it will change how you view the world. Yes, the movie does provide several ways to help stop global warming, but most of them are for adults. I would like to know how I, a teenager, can help save the planet. If you have any suggestions, please post them here.

Also, if you don't want to make the small effort needed to watch the movie, go to the website
