How about this? Stop supporting movie studios and actors from Hollywood.

According to UCLA, the movie and television industry are among the top five polluters in the five county Los Angeles region. Therefore, by disassociating myself from supporting them, and calling others to do the same, we can help wipe out pollution in Los Angeles.

What do you think?

The big storm that recently hit Oregon produced 40 ft. waves on the coast--what do waves that size do to marine life? How do fish, dolphins, whales, etc, survive? Does it mess up the food chain by ripping out sea weed? Or is it pretty easy for sea life to survive because its pretty calm under water regardless of how violent it is at the surface?

Hi!
I'm very concerned that there is not more effort to save the environment. I don't see it as the responsibility of the government to take the lead. I think people should be willing to take steps
to make a difference themselves without being asked, even if it is a small one, like turning off lights when not needed.
I know absolutely no one who quietly turns off a light switch with the environment in mind. Unless people are reminded, they do nothing? I really don't understand. The problem and some of the solutions have been around long enough for people to have established some sort of good habits. Must we always wait for a major crisis, like a blackout, before people will take steps to reduce
electrical usage, say .. or a water crisis before they have in their hearts to be careful of our natural resources ...

Personally, I like turning off lights. To me, daylight is beautiful and artificial lights are not, especially fluorescents.

Here's a challenge for those of you who believe in global warming. Disprove to me that the other planets in the solar system are also warming up. Everyone I've asked to do so via e-mail hasn't responded.

If we stopped buying "cut" Christmas trees and started buying live ones, would it slow down global warming? Getting fake ones wouldn't help because it would increase plastic production creating more air pollution. But what if people decided to buy live trees and replant them? Wouldn't it make some bit of difference?
