Hi!
I'm very concerned that there is not more effort to save the environment. I don't see it as the responsibility of the government to take the lead. I think people should be willing to take steps
to make a difference themselves without being asked, even if it is a small one, like turning off lights when not needed.
I know absolutely no one who quietly turns off a light switch with the environment in mind. Unless people are reminded, they do nothing? I really don't understand. The problem and some of the solutions have been around long enough for people to have established some sort of good habits. Must we always wait for a major crisis, like a blackout, before people will take steps to reduce
electrical usage, say .. or a water crisis before they have in their hearts to be careful of our natural resources ...
Personally, I like turning off lights. To me, daylight is beautiful and artificial lights are not, especially fluorescents.
