You are linking one hundred year's worth of corporations polluting trees (not the atmosphere, but trees?) directly to solar activity? *sigh*

I'm a firm believer that everything effects everything else. While this might be true its not exactly like polluting trees is causeing the suns solar flare activitys directly or at least its impossible to tell if thats the case. More likely its the fact that we have made these EM fields around the earth that is probably making it act like a huge'r magnet thus drawing more attension from the sun. Trees probably counter balance this effect with there EM absorbing bark thus we can see a direct link between the TWO OMG STUPID CORPS!

It's not a catastrophe, it's something that happens often. We're protected by the Earth's magnetic field. And trees have nothing to do with it.

Of course pollution causes solar flares. The sun is 93 million miles of complete vacuum away from us: our pollution definitely makes all these solar flares happen.
