What data should be collected to support the hypothesis that enzyme C works best in a Enviornment that is slightly basic?
1. the amino acid sequence of enzyme C
2. the amount of substance W produced in 5 minutes at various pH levels
3.The shapes of substance X and Y after the reaction occurs
4. the temperatures before the reaction occurs

The equation was written oddly, but I assume that Enzyme C is used to produce Substance W from Substance X and Y? In that case it would be 2. The better Enzyme C works, the more quickly Substance W is produced. Also, choice 2 is the only one which has anything to do with pH.
