First of all, I would like anyone who does not believe in global warming to watch the movie 'An Inconvenient Truth.' Many people resolve not to watch it solely because it is by Al Gore and they do not particularly like him. However, he has not done the slideshow for political reasons, but to help this earth. All you have to do is rent it and have an open mind, I guarantee it will change how you view the world. Yes, the movie does provide several ways to help stop global warming, but most of them are for adults. I would like to know how I, a teenager, can help save the planet. If you have any suggestions, please post them here.

Also, if you don't want to make the small effort needed to watch the movie, go to the website

1) I lot of people don't "believe" in global warming because they know that if they did, they'd have to give up something (their car, their job, their favorite food, their 55-foot screen TV...).

2) This will unfortunately sound like an oldy talking to teens. However, just look at the proposal and see if it helps.

- Try to walk more and use motorized vehicles less (this leads to less pollution). Getting used to walking more often means that you will use less gasoline later in life.
- Eat less meat, especially fast food (it was recently announced that cows produce more methane than previously thought). Teens are, whatever the reason, great consumers of hamburgers and that encourages the raising of more cows to satisfy the craving.
- Try to use less electricity (coal plants and oil-burning plants pollute, even artificial lakes for hydroelectricity release methane).

Conserving energy is something anyone can do. For example, as a teenager you can:
1) Talk to your parents about switching to compact fluorescent lightbulbs.
2) Turn off lights when you leave the room.
3) Take shorter showers.
4) Arrange to carpool with your friends when you go out instead of everyone meeting somewhere.
5) Walk or ride a bike if you're going somewhere close to home.
6) Recycle.
7) Organize a group of student at your school to push the administration to have greener policies (at most schools all you need to do to start a club like this is get one teacher on board).

1. Plant native trees where they'll grow naturally without fertilizers, pesticides, or irrigation.
2. Reduce your use of energy from fuels that are burned (yes, that includes your fireplace).
3. Refrain from getting things that take energy to make. Keep it to the bare necessities.

4. Convince your friends (and everyone else) to do the same.

I will go to your website, but you have to go to mine:

Who are you going to believe? Al Gore (a politician) or William Gray, the former head of the National Hurricane Center. He has studied global warming for years, and he says there is no way it is caused by man.

I am going to believe the man who has done his homework. Don't believe everything you see, PLEASE! Think for yourself.

Is it a coincidence that, 400 years ago, the world went though a 400 year warm cycle? And now, 400 years later, it is getting warm again?

note that distinct the politicians that are pushing the international warming concern are previous type dictators . those human beings are literally utilizing the concern with the intention to reduce your mobility and confiscate your living house . What if the commissar confiscates each thing that you own and there fairly became no international warming?

Ummmmm you can stop using things bd for the air. Those products go and destroy the atmosphere/ozone layer. The spay cans that give a little sprint is better for the air instead of the press and hold cans.

Don't worry about the planet, it can take care of itself. Worry about us.

Separate what you need from what you want.

You may need a phone, but do you NEED to replace it every six months so you have the latest model?
