If we stopped buying "cut" Christmas trees and started buying live ones, would it slow down global warming? Getting fake ones wouldn't help because it would increase plastic production creating more air pollution. But what if people decided to buy live trees and replant them? Wouldn't it make some bit of difference?

Holy crap!!! No wonder we are killing ourselves. The majority of human beings are completley fricken ignorant. The few that actually have a grip on reality are being choked out by dumbasses.

Yes, every little helps. A great many of the cut trees end up being burned at the end of their life, which won't help the environment either. Most of our oxygen comes from plants and trees on land, so don't be swayed by the deniers!

Before you go on your tree buying spree, consider that a tree needs as many roots as it has branches. A 3-foot tree in a 1-foot deep, 1-foot diameter pot will very likely die., and all you will have accomplished is to expend unnecessary energy digging and trasporting it.

I like the idea of live trees. Just buy one small enough so that it has a chance to survive the transplanting, and don't count on it reducing global warming, for the reasons mentioned above. Also consider that if you don't need a new tree every year, one attractive plastic tree can last a lifetime.

Or, plant a tree in your front yard and decorate it yearly.

the two factors have valid factors. plant life, such as timber, have a favorable result on the ecosystem and reducing them down without replanting can injury that. maximum places you purchase a real tree from tend to replant so they have inventory for destiny Christmases. i'm uncertain which might placed out extra pollution. On one hand, a faux tree in basic terms places out pollution while synthetic and lasts 20 to 30 yrs. and then will properly be recycled. on the different hand, a real tree each 12 months could be taken down and transported from place to place inflicting pollution each 12 months such as while it gets disposed of, even though it extremely is completely biodegradable. I have not have been given any stats on production facility emissions vs. motor vehicle emissions to evaluate, and which could additionally produce different stats too that i've got not got alongside with effortless distance from tree farm to homestead vs effortless life expectancy of a synthetic tree. i'm advantageous there are different factors so if i did not call your in demand, sorry. i might say that in case you rather should be a tree hugger, do it actually. Plant a pine tree on your backyard, beautify it with biodegradable issues, and you will have the main environmentally friendly christmas tree. it is going to final longer and be extra suitable each 12 months. in my opinion i like my synthetic tree. It is going up and is derived down rapid and it has the lights furniture on it, no watering or the different upkeep required. humorous how the only person acts like the only downfall of electric autos to the ecosystem is the flexibility source. what variety of environmental result do you think of the making of all those huge batteries which could get replaced on a generally going on foundation may be? to not point out the disposal of those batteries. What if the vehicle have been given right into a intense twist of destiny? How lots acid might get dumped out of control into the ecosystem?

we can never stop global warming but we can slow it down. carbon dioxide is what causes it because it changes the composition of the atomysphere the most delicate part of the earth. america is the leading in producing carbon dioxide because of our undying thirst for gasoline and our cars which run by them. just follow steps to preserving, reduce, reuse, recycle. turn off all unused lights, even for just a second, carpool, take the bus instead of driving, don't use more water than you need because water uses electricity because of the water plants, unplug the television after use because it still uses electricity when off, limit time using the computer or television, follow the silly but true "if its yellow let it mellow, if its brown flush it down".

98 percent of oxygen in the air is produced by the algeas and plants like that living in the sea or the ocean so i think it would not make a lot of difference.

no they'll just make paper or furnature out of the trees they don't cut down. if not that then wipe them out because they are of no longer use and build on it.

There are hundreds of millions of trees on this planet. I honestly don't think it would make any difference.
