The department has seven permanent sites and two alternate weekend sites where residents can bring recyclables:
Westpark Consumer Recycling Center at 5900 Westpark (also includes tires, BOPA, and Scrap Electronics recycling)
Environmental Service Center (South) at 11500 South Post Oak (For household hazardous waste and scrap electronics recycling only)
Kirkpatrick Depository at 5565 Kirkpatrick (Tires and oil also)
Lawndale Depository at 9200 Lawndale (Tires and oil also)
Sunbeam Depository at 5100 Sunbeam (Tires and oil also)
3602 Center (newspaper, magazines, office paper; glass food & beverage bottles and jars; #1 & #2 plastic jugs; tin & aluminum food cans; cardboard boxes-broken down) -- Open 24/7
Vista Fibers at 1200 Brittmoore
1245 Judiway (Glass only)
Kingwood Park & Ride at 3210 W. Lake Houston Parkway (2nd and 4th weekends of the month)
2006 -- January 14-15 and 28-29, February 11-12 and 25-26, March 11-12 and 25-26, April 8-9 and 22-23, may 13-14 and 27-28, June 10-11 and 24-25, July 8-9 and 22-23, August 12-13 and 26-27, September 9-10 and 23-24, October 14-15 and 28-29, November 11-12 and 25-26, December 9-10 and 23-24.
Ellington Field at Highway 3 @ Dixie Farm Road -- Open 24/7
Volunteers are available at the Westpark Consumer Recycling Center and the Environmental Service Center drop-off sites to assist residents who bring their recyclables to these locations. Ellington Field, Kingwood, Center Street and the Vista Fiber sites accept all recyclables collected in the curbside recycling program, with the exception of used motor oil. Glass bottles and jars are also accepted at these sites. Used motor oil is accepted at the three depository sites.

well tell your neighbors to do recycle, because 1 it help the enviroment , 2 you get money for it, and last it is trash and into new things so trees or w.e doesn't have to be destryed agian

look in the phone book. there are probably places you can get paid for it too...i know in some neighborhoods they have big recycling dumpsters in the park
