O.K yes... Some want to make a difference... but if people really wanted to stop the world from going up in smoke we would stop ignoring green peace and protest a bit more for 4 x 4 gas-guzzling vehicles to be banned. Why do we live in a throw-away society? Who needs over 20 sets of something in a different colours really? Who needs over one car? It's like you've never heard of giving each other lifts!! All the cars I see that only have one driver in that sit in a long string of traffic - just maybe sometimes we could *gasp!* walk or get on our bikes for a change. I hate the fact that people go to the shops that are 5 minutes away and that when they get out of the car they leave their engines running!! You should have to pay fines for doing that. The next generation will hate us all. Climate change is already starting in Africa. Do you realise what this means? And some people refuse to see this as they don't want to face the truth. You're going to have to soon though.

So you know how everything fits into an ecological circle... (ex. grass eats nutrients in soil, cows eat grass, things eat cows, things die, grass eats the nutrients, etc)

Soooo what is the purpose of a tick? does anything eat them? do they serve any sort of environmental function?

Please try not to just guess.. I'm looking for serious answers...

We have just been on a world trip visiting many countries and we never heard a mention of either 'climate change' or 'global warning' used once.
Yet here on the biased(now admitted) BBC it is used ALL the time.
Is the BBC a servant of HM Taxes.

Chemicals, Space adventure, preservatives and our environment. They are killing, evaporating and destroying our planet and its surroundings. It may be decades but it is slowly disappearing. When will we stand up and speak out.

It's a strange phenomenon. A pendulum light in a lounge will attract a fly in the room to fly in a square formation endlessly unless disturbed. This is in broad daylight, with no light or heat being emitted from the light. Why??!!

Recently purchased a clay strip mine. Been seeking any help from groups like Al Gore's Stop Global Warming, but nobody want's to help plant pine or other shrubs wildlife can use. Cannot plant trees like I once did,

I need to know what EarhtWorms eat ???
I know coffee grounds are good but thats it~

In case ur wondering why I ask...I go fishing...trout & lg. mouth bass. I also have 2 horses and over the winter their manuer gets stored in a huge pile till in the spring, then it all gets spread &
recycled-lol. So....
How this all started...there were these real big healthy looking worms at the bottom of this pile & like I said~ I go fishing in the spring & summer so...instead of buying them ...I'd figured I'd use what I have ...plus they are put to good use in the flower & veggie garden...so there's a dual purpose here.

Now, to continue Inside -in a garage for coolness-stored in a cooler, with air, dirt from the pasture...now back to my question from above.
Thanx for ur time...I'm not strange...lol...I promise! Jus wanna know if I can really continue the cycle here. Cya

Once upon a time there was a battery plant. The location is now on the edge of a growng town. The earth where the factory was has been dug up and put in a mound, It has been covered with plastic, them with dirt, now another layer of plastic is going over it. First, is this the customary way to treat this kind of soil? Second, they talk of harvesting some sort of gas from the mound!?? Third, is there a a chemical that could have been poured over the contaminated area to make the lead insoluble to avoid the necesstiy of digging it up?
