Chemicals, Space adventure, preservatives and our environment. They are killing, evaporating and destroying our planet and its surroundings. It may be decades but it is slowly disappearing. When will we stand up and speak out.

By "MAN" I'm assuming that you mean HUMAN, because the last time I checked women made up 52% of the population and is responsible, therefore, for 52% of the damage to the planet.

Our planet isn't disappearing. There is some damage being done to it, but people are starting to come around. Notice the changes in 'green behaviour' (recycling, composting, etc....) that have taken place in the past 25 years. There is still a ways to go, but we're getting there.

I feel distraught. I can't say I am any better than the person standing next to me because I ride in cars, use tons of paper, etc. My logic is that we may not be able to change other people's mindsets, but we can help change our own habbits. By doing so, maybe we will set an example for future generations or for our neighbors.

human beings have been causing damage to the ecosystems of the world for many generations, many species have disappeared because humans hunted them down. the effects of human civilization on the ecology of our world are getting worse with the increase of human population and the effects we have on the world.
there is no solution to that process, in a few generations the wild world will only exist in parks.

we are only destroying the planet as we know it,we arent killing the planet we are killing ourselves, earth is awesomely beautiful and constantly changing, she will be around for many yrs after we are gone,it is the arrogance and ego of man to think that we can "kill" the earth,we can certainly change it as we know it now,but she wont die,not from what we do anyway

Hmm. Who is THEY? And maybe you weren't aware but there are hundreds, if not thousands of "us" that are Standing up and Speaking out and Leading by Example and Teaching our children not to waste, to grow our own food, to buy sustainably produced food.......... Start, as they say, with the "Man" in the mirror.
