Is the latest "Global warming" threat just something that happens to our planet every few million years. I understand that in the past millions of years there have been many cold and warm spells?

many animals have heat sensing abilities. If a creature is dead, will they produce heat? If not, that would mean that the predator will not be able to use heat-sensing to capture it. Right?

In what way can we try to slow down or even stop the negative effects of global warming? This is becoming an increasingly hazardous problem. Feel free to post anything, you will- er, should, NOT be criticized for any answer.

My question is mostly about educational programmes. There is vast amount of knowledge out and available ,I would lke to know of the groups who are putting them in useable formats ,for educators ,parents and students.
Are there satelite coverage dedicaterd in delivering this education?it is more a question of where do I find it than anything else.It is logically impossible to say it does not exist.
please, forward to the next person who does know. Thanks

reading literature relating to climate change some people seem to say that the world is gonna keep getting hotter and more of a desert, others suggest that it will eventually lead to an Ice age. Which do you think will happen and why?

Given the fact that there have been changes to way the worlds weather has been over recent years in terms of flooding, storms, mud slides etc. Is this really to do with the carbon emmissions that we have been increasing over the years or is it due to the natural cycle of the Earth? Afterall we are around 11,000 years overdue for an iceace that has happened almost every 11,000 years like clockwork!

I do work within the renewables industry and I do know that carbon emmissions are bad. We should do all we can to reduce and stop what we produce but is it the sole cause of the climate change we are experiencing?

Most sites I check, about becoming carbon neutral, suggest a number of trees I must plant to offset my carbon usage. I have grandchildren, who are far too impatient to watch a tree grow. Sunflowers, being annual, are great to grow, with fairly instant results for them to look at. I would like to know if anyone knows how many must be grown to offset 1 ton of carbon dioxide - though I appreciate it would be a huge number!

There's lot's of talk about turning off your TV at the wall to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This is because the little blue or red standby light actually uses a lot of energey.

The obvious answer is to use the switch on the wall. However my power point is behind the TV and is difficult to get at.

I'd like to save the planet but I'm terminally lazy.

Does anyone know of a remote device that I could use, or somehow attach, to completely shut off the power and save energy?

Hi, I'm wondering whether or not there is anywhere left on earth to explore without using modern technology (eg. Deep sea).
If there are any such places left, please tell me the name, or if they have no names, name the closest known area within 700km and the direction from that area.

In Argentina, many of the cars have two fuel sources, one of which is propane. We were wondering if this causes more or less pollution/damage to the environment than gasoline.
