There is a device used by bee keepers for impregnating queen bees. The queen is made to crawl through into the device, where it is temporarily trapped. It is then injected and becomes impreganated. It is then released.
Can anyone tell me what this device is called???

Let's assume for the moment that global warming is a real threat, unnaturally created by mankind.... And that the polar ice caps hold the key to preventing a chain reaction....And that we can't just stop all greenhouse gas emissions from one day to another.
I have seen that a concept for a huge solar wind sail exists. What if we shoot up and unfold one of those into a geostationary orbit over the poles, to create just a little bit of "shade" over the ice caps.
Do you think that would help to stop the ice caps from shrinking?
