A biome is a large geographical area of distinct plants and animals, which are adapted to that particular environment. The climate and geography of a region determines what type of biome can exist in that region. Major biomes include deserts, forests, grasslands, tundra, and several types of aquatic environments. The biomes include; aquatic, deserts, forest, grasslands, and tundra. I assume this is for school, if it is, them good luck. I had to do a paper on it last semester.

Numerous. Consider shallows or tidal pools(lots of light), deep sea(little to no light), arctic(very cold), equatorial(warm). Lots of biomes in the oceans & seas.
