Please help me with this concerning about LANDFILLS?
what are the sources of carbon dioxide,methane,solvents,organ... nitrogen and rodents that concern in landfills

Land fills are an accident waiting to happen. much of the material could be burned to produce electricity. Lets do a compare son if u take a cubic ft of wood and burn it,will it produce any more CO2 than it will if u put it in the land fill and it takes 10 yr. to produce CO2? I think it will be the same . We need to do more to help mother earth to recycle. Mother nature has been recycling for millions of years. We need to get serious about planting moor plants & trees ,there action will cover a multitude of other sins. When things get serious u will see an actual increas in CO2 not an estimate that doesnt consider the work of our plants,and it will actually be better for the plants.
